Low volume does not mean automatic price falls. Again, you struggle to understand that correlation is not causation.

Separate the cost of wind from the cost of gas and nobody will build wind. We saw that when one of the rounds of the contract bids attracted zero bids because the gas price had dipped. They had to entice with a 50% premium to draw a single bid.

The figures don't lie. Germany and the UK have lots of renewable energy and electricity five times the price of that which China enjoys

What could be more stupid than inviting the CEO of an energy company to consult with the government on energy policy? There is a clear conflict of interest going on there.

Gas is far cheaper than solar and wind. Coal is even cheaper still, we should be using that where appropriate (eg for making steel instead of importing it from China).

We have thousands of years worth of gas and oil around and under us. Better to exploit that and let us all have cheap, reliable energy that is ALWAYS ON!
