Your orders can show up on L2, if you buy off book via an intermediary then your buy will show on the trade list live as it happens. Not on the L2 order book. As with anything you tell him, once he's made his mind up he thinks he's right, he just repeats it ad nauseum.

Level 2 is an order book, had you placed limit orders with DMA or a broker did that for you, then you'd see your orders before they were filled on Level 2

If you had "posted your buys real time" then they'd show up on the live trade list, not the order book. So which was it?
