If MB thinks that the agreement with Rajasthan Govt is in sight, I still think there would be merit in LCM completing its due diligence and have everything ready - JUST IN CASE the Rajasthan govt, after any initial agreement, were revert back to their old tactics to frustrate any deal? MB I think would want the Rajasthan govt to be made clear, even after any possible deal, that we still have the LCM fallback

To add to what you have mentioned, I believe this has reached to a point where it will be absolutely absurd on the part of the Indian Govt not to reach an amicable agreement. They dragged it as much as they could by not attending the court in Rajasthan thinking this minnow with limited funds will not be able to take any action and in time to come will simply get tired and move on. Little did they know that MB had other tricks up his sleeve and now the ball is in their court to decide if they should take the risk that one day they will have to pay out Billions to PAT (money which will have to come out of the Indian coffers not the Rajasthan State and which I doubt Modi govt will like) under the International tribunal or come to some sort of agreement where they have a lot to gain from.

THIS IS ALL TO DO WITH THE INDIAN GOVT ASKING FOR MORE TIME - CRYSTAL CLEAR

This just proves the point that the Indian authorities want more time. Looking now more and more towards an amicable deal

Hopefully before the court case as there would be nothing to discuss in the court.

I really now think that further discussions are happening as the Indian authorities would not at any cost want to end up in the tribunal - that's probably the worst thing for them as the loss could be gigantic.

So, I think that they would try to squeeze as much as they can out of a deal. This would very much depend on to what extent MB wants to give in.

On the basis that on the legal side, the courts are on our side and we have a stay order on the licence, MB I think will not allow the state company even 1% on any JV structure with the new partner. However, I think MB might give in more on the local community front.

For there not to be an RNS this morning, there has to be some significant developments taking place in my opinion. I see the absent of an RNS as a very positive development
