I had a look back at the december 2018 update. -pasted the main point below ie that the 90 days is a standard but not a legal requirement. So the approval may be soon or not so soon- I suppose it was a difficult new technology and the FDA had the reduction in funding so the excuse for the delay is reasonable. But should be pretty soon now ,and I suspect they will hold back on the RNS re the results for a while awaiting the approval. Good luck all

This represents the normal application process with the FDA for a 510k. The manufacturer submits a data package for review. The FDA examines it for completeness, then starts working on it. At any point they can 'stop the clock' to ask questions, and that clock restarts when the manufacturer submits answers. The FDA is evaluated against a standard, and processes 95% of 510k's within 90 days of the FDA review time. Given that the StoneChecker application has now been with them for over half that time it appears that while approval may be forthcoming at the end of the year, it is more likely that the FDA may not complete their review of the package until Q1 2019.

Hi Ivy- wasnt here a 90 day deadline from date of submission of the application ,though the clock stops once they raise a question and restarts on the answer ? David Smith said no more substantive questions in his last video- maybe they have asked some non substantives?But if they had I would have thought that would be relayed somehow by David Smith as it looks like 90 days are up or nearly up from that 12 june video? I can see investors getting worried there is a problem ,though as you say there are other strings...... I live in hope - a bit more here than mtfb I have to say!

Jut a quick thought- that david smith video seemed to imply that the FDA had completed their enquiries. That video was 12 JUNE -wasnt there a 90 day statutory deadline for FDA turnaround -I know there are gaps and the clock stops ticking when they raise a question - but assuming no new questions have been asked since that video (and no indication of this from DS since) then surely they have to come back within 90 days at the latest from 12 June ?it must be imminent?

I see the interims came out on sep 10 last year so if FDA gets its ducks in a row soon we may be able to kill two birds with one RNS?

Aaahh that's your mistake. It’s not about the company it’s about the herd mentality /psychology and this is the basis of charting .... if you get a quick fall from a big rise like this that then continues you are looking at pump and dump. We will see. But good luck if you are gonna hold.
