The EU stimulus package of €500 billion could actually further destabilise the EU ad lets not forget ALL of this money doesn't grow on trees so somewhere down the line in someones not ours, lifetime the money will have to be paid back! There does appear to be a lot of money being created from nowhere as countries print more and more.....look at the US package....all very, very big numbers and we are not out of this pandemic yet!!!

Scarlet, might be a tech gitch at either of the ends. Was on H L yesterday and every day previous week, no bother apart from bit flaky broadband.
Best to resolve by phoning them. Tech there quite frendy....a little slow! Also ask them wen they are going to get trading data back i.e sells , buys, bolumes etc !!!!

I think "the bottom" is when someone turns the lights out!!! In this current market I think its anyones guess/ gamble where the price will go. Prices are moving all over the place on most shares for no logical reason beyond the unknown.......Have I missed something?!

I'm new on here but i thought the idea of no dividend payout was to conserve capital and while i think buying back debt, in general and under normal circumstances, would be a great way to improve shareholder value, surely now is not the time for a "potential" £5 billion outlay. If the company deems it has loads of spare capital pay the dividend and stick two fingers up to the BoE and let the government print more money instead.
Lloyds is publicly owned company and Not a quasi government institution........unlike TBS!
