Alba tweet October 24th said airborne survey expected to be flown in the coming weeks. This is a subtle difference to the statement on October 16th saying will be flown week commencing October 30th weather permitting but possibly explains why we haven’t heard anything.

Waste tip pre application enquiries were close to being sent in august, I would imagine the main application is still some time away.

Couple of interesting points of view on groc sp on the groc board today

Significant point for me was that it was nrw who set the pumping rate, alba wanted it much higher but nrw said no.

Cash raise was understandable but it was the absurd discount that wiped out the decent price rise that has infuriated many of us.

Lse buy/sell system of record is completely unreliable and inaccurate but it does appear that someone or several are dumping. If there is news tomorrow I can imagine anger will turn to rage and many more will demand change.

I feel the timing and price of placement needs further explanation from the board.

The grant of permit decision document (different from issue) is dated 12th May 2023. I’m assuming that alba were aware of this so why wait to raise cash? Were they restricted from doing so? Was the deal already in place but by coincidence did the permit get issued earlier than expected? Why not wait until the price stabilised? Why such a hefty discount they knew would peg back tbe sp and antagonise shareholders?

I’m clinging to the hope of short term pain, long term gain but frankly I feel we need an urgent explanation .

I haven’t commented, I thought it was more about the organisations they invite to comment that was important.

I’m visiting the area again at the end of next month and will pop up to the mine, be nice to have had a positive decision by then. Found some lovely samples last year where someone had been cracking rocks open.
