I said stuff it this morning and invested in PSN. Rightly or wrongly, it's my decision to buy under 1000p, surely were in bargain territory. The SP immediately dropped! as soon as I purchased the shares at 960, but I bought for the long term, and in my unprofessional opinion 'that stands for nothing'. But longterm, I'm sure this is the right decision and I believe Ive made the right call. Lots and lots of young people need new homes, and they need building ASAP. GLA DYOR
Besides, I'd only end up with another motorcycle in the garage if I hadn't of bought, and there's just no more room.
Badlands, The headline was possible! And, as stated below, 'Energy security is the government's greatest priorities', it can't /won't be on wind alone.
Lifted off the Gov website:
Powering Up Britain
Energy security is one of this government’s greatest priorities – and why the Prime Minister created the new Department for Energy Security and Net Zero in February. The new department’s mission is to replace our energy with cheaper, cleaner, domestic sources. We will be powered by renewables including wind and solar, hydrogen, power with carbon capture, usage and storage (CCUS) and new nuclear plants

What a clever move by Qatar, the world needs to move away from fossil fuels, so their diversifying. Great news for all us long term RR investors. And great for the planet too. I don't know what will happen to the share price in the short term, but its superb news for the long term. Onwards and upwards. GLA
No Bantam53, this time next week.
Always use London Stock Exchange. Google and others go off on a tangent.

GeorgeW1995. I'll have whatever your on, thats some SP. RR SMR won't be even approved by the governing bodies until 2024 at the earliest. But if it does get through, then it still could be years away before we see a running SMR. And I doubt it will be in the UK, probably be in Holland.
You'll only be on 'top of the world' if you've got your 'ticket to ride'. GLA, DYOR.

Many of us have been on an emotional roller coaster for the last few years, as I know you know too well. I for one, invested and kept averaging down at great risk. But now I /we have put ourselves in a great position, the last 5 weeks have been absolutely fantastic. It may retrace a bit, but there is no way I'm selling on a climb, and I still strongly agree that with Tufan leading the way, RR will be a highly rated AA investment grade company. In the words of Karen Carpenter "It's only just begun"
The Legacy 600 is powered by two AE3007A1E turbofan engines manufactured by Rolls-Royce
Closing price 150.00 as per London Stock Exchange.
Does anyone know anything about Trawsfynydd nuclear power station, latest info, rumours etc.
Let's see what happens May 11th! I'd like to think the financials are improving, debt being reduced, and credit rating improvement. I suspect at some point we will start getting dividends too. I keep hearing RR will be £2 soon, it will be here soon enough. IMO
My wife, who keeps telling me things are shooting up in the supermarkets, has also noticed, that many items on our shopping list have been dropped in weight too! Not only have the supermarkets surpassed inflation on price rises, I.e many items up 30%+ in tge last year, they are also gaining on the lesser weight of items. Let's hope inflation goes down rapidly, for the sake of everyone.

I can't see them committing fully to SMR until all the regulatory bodies are satisfied. RR have said themselves that this was not going to be until mid 2024, not too far away really. The bad thing for RR , is that there is no acceleration of the approval, from a safety point of view, it's probably a good thing. But on the other hand in the UK, once you get approval the orders will/ should flood in. GLA DYOR
Have a happy hump day. How's that!
I was gutted when they dropped the CGT to 6k. My plan was to use my 12k allowance as like a drawdown to top my pension up in about 5 years time. I use my ISA allowance for other investments, so I may have to give shares to my Wife, or have her as a joint member in my account, so we will use her allowance up too. Shafted comes to mind!
