I'm at 80%, I am diversifying, and have been doing so for a while, but nothing has beared as mush fruit as Rolls. 80% is too high, but who knows, it could be 90% in a few weeks time, or even 70%. I'm not buying any more as I'm happy with the amount I hold.
Seems to be a lot of hot air and squeaky voices around HE1 bulletin board. Is there a leak? Only posting here, as I know are few are invested there.
That's good news RamDerby. Although a lot of us are doing very well with RR, I honestly believe we all deserve more, we've stuck with RR through thick and thin, and I still strongly believe greater things are to come. DYOR GLA
Totally agree RamDerby, the Ultrafan has massive potential. Just hope we can meet demand.
I wouldn't worry too much about the daily price at the moment, for instance, in the last 5 days we are still up over 10pts. Try to look at the broader range. If there's a major fall or rise it will be in the press, or RNS.

If your thinking Ultrafan for narrow body aircraft, I didn't think that would be until the 2030's. Other wise Rolls don't supply narrow body.
I'm personally holding, I have a low average too and it will take something catastrophic for me to sell.
But I also keep an eye on what the analysts are predicting, and RR is still a buy!
I already have IAG and won't sell them either.
It's a personal thing, whether to buy or sell, if you can take profit and be happy, then do that. I'm greedy and want more.
thanks ****nal17, i was annoyed when they changed the cgt, as my plan was to use my investment account as a pension top up, and draw off the full amount for a number of years, as i invested in rr pre rights issue and purchased my full rights, but i never imagined my gains to be so vast. and think the goverment have shafted us all.
When it says 'you may pay CGT' if your amount exceeds the tax allowance. I was going to transfer 20k from my investment account over to the missus next week and another 20k after the end of the tax year, then she'll transfer the shares into her ISA account. As I am exceeding the 6k allowance & 3k, am I still liable for tax? The may pay CGT is a bit vague.
Announcing BBB credit rating would be absolutely superb, fingers and toes crossed.
Lorna not Laura. What am I like!
We payed off our mortgage 2 years ago, it was so liberating to us, we now have so much more freedom financially. Sadly we could of done with all this extra cash when the kids were younger, and as much money as we have in saving and investments, it doesn't mean diddly squat unless you have your health. 'Your health is your wealth', so enjoy your money, spoil your family and have some fun 😁
Having been down over 96% (The harsh reality of aim stock), and I'm still down 72%, my hopes are still high, 'I read faces pretty well and Laura looked like the cat who had the cream'. Good news this week will undoubtedly get the price into new highs, which equates to more than some of the predicted 10x multibaggers. So I wish everyone good luck, and please only gamble, "I mean invest" what you can afford to lose.
Any ideas what a 200m m cap would be in share price?
I wouldn't worry too much about it, once the USA wake up, it will be back up then. I don't think it will do much until results day, here's hoping for some good news.
I think we are well deserved, we had the likes of David Perry dragging us down for such a long time. Even he has had to yield , I think has last price was 400p, which is a complete turn around for him.
I'd like to think there are better days ahead too.
It's done this before on good results, it's almost as if someone's winding the crank up ready for it to break out. Wouldn't be surprised to see climb again soon. I don't know much about the Macros, but damn them.
RR SMR are still awaiting all the regulatory requirements to be approved, which hopefully will be all good for 2024, fingers crossed. I would imagine there would be a lot of oversea interest once it gets all approvals, and orders to boot. As for Granite shares, you can gain a lot and lose a lot, pure gambling in my opinion. Statistically, the odds will NOT be in your favour. I think the price today is a bargain price and definitely worth a long term investment though. GLA DYOR.
Nice bike Gary. Might buy a BMW GS for a European tour next year. Did the NC500 on a S1000R and my knees were suffering a bit, travelling up from the North West. So comfort is my next move. Good luck with your sale.
