This must be a great ptoposition to someone, a fully FCA reviewed correct process and procedure company now... I can only think thier waiting for the final FCA rubber stamp on thier investigation, (which they already said would be concluded in good time before the RI as they recognised it could hamper it)

They did say previously a large amount t of the 45m (40 at the time) would be through gearing, so assume they only need to find investors to cover the 15m minimum from the RI if shareholders don't take up all thier rights?

I totally agree. They only NEED 15m for th3 scheme the rest is for future lending. They could just do a future raise once all th3 dust has cleared later on this year. I wish they hadn't said anything until fca had been completely done and dusted. Then go out to the market.
The company will only be wound up if we can't raise the 15m.
Even of they are adamant to raise more now. If thier doing 1m a month or so then ok just raise say 12m to take us into next year then do a bigger raise?!

I see this as super positive. If thier doing that now with no advertising and being really cautious I think there's great potential for the business. I can only think they keep things subdued until after the fca have concluded thier investigation.
That's when the investors will pile in!

Also, have you not read the details of the scheme claims? I think its about 80k claims in total, out of over 1m loans . .. that's less than 10% not too bad a record. Why do you keep talking about amigo like thier the wongas and quick quids of the world???

Ahh no! The glory days when jpm and by Brook were in and the share price was 30p! Before we were shafted by a halt to trading before the court hearing which screwed all the shareholders

I think it will be full fca approval and lenders in place. This company has so much potential o just can't see why it wouldn't be.
Share peice will bump up nicely then while we wait for details on the RI

I think amigo must have significantly trimmed thier overheads with the staff cuts, streamlined systems, office move etc that's all happened over last 2 years... fingers crossed even if thier held to higher standard it should stack up. And surely its a good selling point that they have literally got fca tried and tested good governance in place now. Must be a less risky if not as profitable proposition for investors?

I think it will all be fine eventually. The new systems will be tweaked as necessary, it's not rocket science. Underwriters will be found eventually, the market for the amigo business is so huge it would be crazy for them to not. All will be well.

Sadly the fca seem to have been so heavy handed with amigo, paradoxically if this has been sorted out sooner amigo could have been trading a long time ago and paid people back even more money!

Agreed why not just do it for the 15m for now to get the box ticked and look to raise more once everything is settled and its a better proposition for investors?!
If thier adamant on raining it now surely of the 100 investors they approached they could find a few to out in a million or two each??

I don't think it's as bad as that as you will be able to buy the new shares at a discount to thier market value I believe? May be worth .5p but we'll get them much cheaper? Perhaps 30 40 or 50% discount???? Guesswork now

Amigos not and never has even a payday lender! Ffs they charge 50% Apr not a 1000% ! Thier only a bit more than the banks you should not put them in the same catagory
