The scheme states amigo must raise i think, £15m from current shareholder dilution. So the other 25m could well be coming from II already being lined up for when the raise happens

How have they still not returned to lending? Their only n9w starting a trail run? Ffs

Well he remains employed and is staying until end of the year to advise so not terrible..... but yes no doubt be a big drop first thing! Ah joy

Amigo buying back 43m shares has got to be good news for the share price hasn't it?

They have stated:
Amigo will make an initial cash contribution of £97m to the Scheme fund, of which £60m was paid in June 2022. £37m is due to be paid to the Scheme fund by 26 February 2022. A further contribution of at least £15m is expected to be made from the proceeds of the proposed capital raise

So it seems the rights issue will happen the n3xt payment un February, so presume will be about May time as per the maximum time frame. Hopefully will have return3d to lending long before then so share p3ice should look a lot better then if people want to sell up before the dilution

So what maybe wait another few months until the total scheme liability is known and were (hopefully) trading again and then set out details of the rights issue for some time in New year??

From memory I think it's £35m initially for relending.? You'd think after all this time amigo have already got all the necessaries in place to start lending ASAP now...but who knows

Ahhh if only we could rely on what Gary says. I remember him saying last autumn the new scheme would be agreed with fca and be passed court by Christmas!!!

I am totally open to accepting anyones argument about bankruptcy or an imminent massive dilution now - but noone seems to he able to explain how they arrive at that conclusion?
It's in black and white in the updates- dilution is a long way off and as far as I can see the risk of bankruptcy has pretty much disappeared after Monday positive news, so if anyone knows different please enlighten us as to why?!!

I agree the 19 to 1 dillition may well happen, but it won't be for up to a year away and amigo will be trading again before it happens, so why are you talking in a way which suggests it's giibg to happen like next week so everyone should get out its all doom and gloom??? I can totally understand peoples negativity toward this share previously, but I think yesterday changed everything TBH.
Why would anyone still feel negative toward Amigo now the court has approved the scheme? People should be snapping this up!
Appreciate you may take a view on selling prior to the rights issue but that AFTER they've returned to lending, within the next 8 months, so why isn't everyone jumping in now? (question is as much rhetorical as anything)

with the economy and inflation as it is going.... there must be a huge business case for a lender like amigo now - raising he money should be a piece of p**s
