Presumably the update Thursday will be discussions are ongoing and they'll either confirm its sorted by 8th March or we'll discuss other options then: reduce future lending amount needed to lower to RI raise, more shareholders buy-in, etc?

Oh and also 2/3rds of thier competitors have disappeared and the market for thier products has grown massively!..... hmmm

....and regards the RI, just take up your rights if you can, you'll make a mint! How long thereafter do you think the shares will be worth less than a penny, with a fully trading zero liabilities company off and running?..... amigo used to be worth 1.3bn at one point with a share price of £2.50! Even a tiny fraction of that and your looking at what?.. how many hundreds of % profit???

All this talk of the company going under, now that the FCA investigation is concluded is really fu**ing me off!
Amigo only actually have to raise £15m for the scheme. They could well just do that for now to meet the deadline by May and then look at recapitalising afterwards if there wasn't enough appetite for investors now.
Even if you added on say anther £5m for operating costs, between the 8000 investors that's £2.5k each - to save the company and all your money - who wouldn't chip in?! Ev£10k to stop the firm going bust - its so easy for this to be avoided I don't know why its even an issue that's being discussed FFS!
Lets have the meeting on the 8th March and get on and bloody do it - the FCA investigation is over lets move onward and upwards now. People have been down on this share for so long they forgotten to see things are actually now all good!

Yep they didn't announce any new news in the notice today, just purposefully keeping the share price down until they've secured the investors presumably to make it as arrrractive as possible.
People are going to make a lot of money on this once it's all sorted! Just wish I hadn't bought all my shares in the teens and twenties!

The FT article yesterday mentioned that 2 3rds of the lenders have gone under in the last few years, so even if amigo lend less there's much more of a market for them to draw from now!
Thier a much safer bet for someone now than the competition as there is assurance thier systems are correct etc. I think we'll see a big stake taken in this by someone soon

An article in the FT says:
Amigo’s chief executive Danny Malone apologised to customers on Tuesday and said the end of the investigation would allow it to “draw a line under these historic lending issues as we seek to secure the capital required for the future”.

Yes I was still expecting some sort of fine but nil is more than anyone could have hoped for!
