Did Schroeders make a profit on their shares ?
armature lol
I think Argo did a lot right , the only problem is they expanded too quickly at the wrong time , leaving themselves vulnerable .
I am hoping for some refinancing and bitcoin heading towards 19k to give a jump in the ARB share price .
who was the guy who called me a mug for selling at £2.50 ? well this mug is back in at 6p .
what can you tell us about the huge debts you mention , any numbers ?
I certainly will buy more if it drops further
just my humble opinion but it seems to be testing the previous low of around 17p so could go up from here or down to 12p then up
It looks like the share price is falling off the edge of a cliff , so I am back in at 19p
I asked myself today , Will AFC go to 40p one day ? I figure yes , so I bought some more shares . At A modest 40p I double my money .
Getting a deal with Kier is great news , that is exactly the sort of thing we need to be doing . A lot more buys than sells today but the share price not doing much , curiouser and curiouser .
I agree bovril , she was an awful interviewer , maybe having a bad day , but Bondo looked good I thought .
what ? Polish transvestites leaning against it ?
Any news Mr Hughes ?
Thanks Dave , that looks quite neat
Has anyone seen a photo of the new power tower anywhere ?
AFC Energy to begin system deployments with several partners in 2022 - broker
The alkaline fuel cell systems specialist reported commercial agreements in hand worth £5mln, and an increased pipeline in EV charging, construction, temporary power and datacentre power
AFC Energy PLC -
AFC extended its Extreme E contract for a second season
AFC Energy PLC's (AIM:AFC, OTC:AFGYF, ETR:QC8) annual results were largely in line with forecasts fro house broker Peel Hunt, which reiterated its 'buy' recommendation based on a valuation of the shares at 195p versus the last close of 37.05p.
Peel Hunt said it is not making any changes to its forecasts for 2022 or 2023 after what was "a highly positive year in terms of the rapid development of the company's new S-Series high-energy-density fuel cell technology and positive demonstration of its ability to use liquid ammonia and methanol fuels, [and] several new commercial partnerships added".
With the alkaline fuel cell systems specialist reporting that it has commercial agreements in hand worth £5mln, and an increased pipeline in EV charging, construction, temporary power and datacentre power, Peel Hunt said new commercial partnerships are expected, in addition to future deployments.
Moreover, in addition to the recent extension of its highly successful Extreme E contract for a second season, AFC announced an expansion of its EV rapid-charging partnership with ABB into datacentre and maritime applications.
There was also an agreement with leading Middle Eastern temporary power business Altaaqa for a dealership for the MENA region, and reaffirmation of interest from Spanish partner Acciona.
"In 2022, we expect to see a number of system deployments with several of these partners (including ABB), which we believe will lead to product validation and a scale up of commercial sales, in due course," said the broker.
AFC Energy sees growing impetus behind hydrogen fuel cells
"The regulatory platform and political will to address climate change has never been stronger"
AFC Energy PLC -
AFC and ABB will launch a fuel cell system this year
AFC Energy PLC (AIM:AFC, OTC:AFGYF, ETR:QC8) expects the current turmoil in energy markets and need for action on climate change to give additional impetus to the adoption of hydrogen-based fuel alternatives.
"The regulatory platform and political will to address climate change has never been stronger, which can only help drive transition away from traditional technologies,” said Adam Bond, AFC’s chief executive.
The group, which helps to provide the power for the all-electric SUV Extreme E rally series, said it expects to deploy the first of a new more powerful hybrid fuel cell in the next few months.
An integrated system being developed with ABB is also expected to be operational by the end of 2022, Bond added.
The group generated its first commercial revenues from the Extreme E series in 2021, but is still in its development phase and operating losses rose to £10.4mln (£4.6mln) as AFC beefed up its staff and spent heavily on new products and manufacturing facilities.
Cash burn during the year was £10.7m, but a £36mln fundraise helped the group end the year with cash of £55.4mln.
Bond added: "In 2021 we established a stronger platform for accelerating growth. “We are already seeing this feed through into an increase in contracted revenues.
“We are well-placed to continue to make large strides in 2022 towards our goal of displacing pollutant diesel generators for off- grid power as part of the global transition to Net Zero."
Boris Johnson just said we must wean ourselves off russian gas and invest in clean energy . I really hope this can be the start of a concerted effort by the government to move forward with the transition to clean energy .
