Looks like Pavel has been released, with it possible that all charges have been dropped!

I also believe Russian colleague investors have also been in court today continuing the battle to restore the company to us as the rightful owners of petropavlovsk.

Now the patents have been acknowledged, it gives a sense of protection to parties interested in a JV or takeover. Ose who Eric is a scientific advisor with have done some big money deals, hopefully Genflow will replicate such success!

I noticed in interviews, Eric also has renewed excitement in the eye programme.

When I went to the AGM earlier in the year, this seemed to have great potential and he was equally as excited about that as the dog programme, but was cautious in that the future success was sat on the patents (which have now been published).

Recent deals show how the eye industry is gaining the attention of big Pharma:

In May, Merck announced a deal worth $3 billion to buy EyeBio and its first-in-class trispecific antibody Restoret, marking the pharma’s return to the ophthalmology space after nearly a decade.

In September, Lupin announced they are to acquire VISUfarma to expand their ophthalmology presence in a deal worth €190m.

Just yesterday, Eli Lilly announced they would be buying Adverum in a deal worth $262M to access their eye programme research.

Hopefully one of these companies under their NDA’s for the dog programme will want to make a deal, so that creates revenue to advance the eye programme!

I think we were all taken aback by the second patent being published. I suppose once you have one approved, it’s alot easier to obtain further patents by cross referencing the claims.

It wouldn’t surprise me, if we were to see even more patents being lodged by Genflow now, to further secure the companies IP, which would attract the interest of multiple stakeholders interested in licensing and acquisitions.

They want shares. Next step, revenue from royalties…

Yes, if they’ve started advertising the next years invite to apply for funding, they must be ready to release the last of the funds owed to institutions like Genflow.
