RE: Get these drugs to market !!!!21 Jun 2023 05:42
Firstly, there is not some secret agenda to get a lower share price, the share price will reflect the actions of the BOD and take care of itself. This board is a forum to discuss the “stock” or at least should be but has been taken over by rampers as I see it and anyone who dares to challenge their view has their posts removed.
A number of posters have complained about the ROI but as I stated yesterday, I would argue that since Suzy started, the SP has actually gone from 3.5p April 21 to today 8p and in market capitalisation terms that’s an increase from £2.2m to £8m. So very good. Those that brought at higher highs are not so happy, but this is a penny share on the AIM and the Share price will always be volatile. The next placing will be at a level it can attract support at, it’s that simple and nothing discussed here can change that. Market conditions are ever changing.
Let’s face it everyone knows someone who has died of Cancer, its God dam awful, I have friends and family of my own that have passed on because of cancer, there is nothing worse. But my view is if you want to support a Cancer Charity donate to Cancer Research UK.
Money invested here is in an actual commercial business, Suzy is not working here for Charity, neither are the rest of the BOD, we are funding to pay for this and funding to pay Suzy over £160k odd a year to do the job right and as such you want that money invested wisely and want some solid progress. Some lose sight of that whilst others are miffed to put it mildly that they have not updated on certain progress when they say they will and in general not delivered results SH want to see over the last few years.
My own view is that the handling of 201 specifically was a disaster especially removing timelines. I said the other day and some picked up on it, I would rather 201 was given away for free to an established biotech with funds to get it into phase trials to see if it works or not and a milestone payment on success, than see us wait two years and counting IF the start up it was given to, can get funding or not. That decision is not helping anyone as I see it, I consider it a poor decision, sorry.
Decisions will be made at the AGM, forward plans specified, and we go from there. Let’s see.
In the meantime, @SeanCadman my view is that Stella is an incredibly smart and professional businesswomen that I highly respect, she will likely invest when the business is “stable”, and I would do the same in her position. She is not investing today, and neither is Suzy or any of the other board members because the business needs to be on stable grounds first.
That is business, its not personal and they list on the AIM market to get that support externally whilst they try and build the business. Some might not like that fact, but its how it is.
