Halfbutt - Thank you for your kind words it's much appreciated. When you have complete conviction, you need to be brave. A regular poster on here Roger65 knows me well from Genedrive. To give you a little background, back in 2022 the SP of GDR was languishing at around 8/9p and everybody was awaiting a rns. At the time I was holding 1.6M shares. A new poster called DSFLAT appeared like a whirlwind and a knight in shining armour and declared his interest in GDR and started to buy significantly, naming his trades in advance. He aquired 1M shares at around 10p. Within one week he changed his mind and felt that the company was going to be taken private for little to nothing. He then started to dump the entire 1M shares. Everybody on the BB at the time commented on how well the SP had held up despite DSFLAT dumping 1M shares. I bought every single one of his shares for approximately £100,000. I then let the BB know that I had bought DSFLAT's entire holding and that's why the SP had held up. I said at the time that DSFLAT had made a big mistake IMHO. The SP touched 8p. Within two weeks the SP touched 42p. I sold 2.6M shares at an average of approximately 29p. It's all about patience. Roger65 will also recall a few years later I declared a trade of 5M shares in GDR which was a sell for around £250K. I told the BB that I had dumped 5M shares, which had been worked by a broker. Sure enough after the close of play the 5M trade was printed. There was no thanks for sharing. Good luck to you and Mrs halfbutt.
