The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
David - Hopefully you will get an update on the GDR placing tomorrow as well. As always it will be at a huge discount. Let's hope they keep it above 3p. That would be a huge result. Good luck with the placing at GDR and I hope you manage to get some in the retail offer. I won't be subscribing. Atb Popeye.
Hankscorpio1 - I totally agree with you. RUA Life Sciences is totally different gravy. It has so much going for it. They have four divisions and two of those are extremely profitable with high margins. The contract division is worth conservatively about £8M. The licensing division is worth conservatively £6.5M and they have £5M cash in the bank with a mkt cap of £6m. The other two sectors of the company are currently in negotiations for JV and partnerships. I think the heart valve division is going to partner with Edwards Life Sciences with a $50bn + market cap on the Nasdaq. On the other hand Genedrive has a massive dark cloud hanging over it in the form of a huge placing and also being shackled to a death spiral financing agreement. It's good to see a fair few of the shrewd posters on here have already invested their profits in RUA. They will be well rewarded. Ignore the massive placing at your peril. Be under no illusions, it's coming and with it comes massive dilution. Good luck. Atb Popeye.
What's the betting that it closes below 5p??? Got to go now guys. Enjoy your evening and I'll see you all tomorrow. Hopefully there'll be some news soon about the fundraise and you never know? They might be able to rid themselves of those vultures RF that have them trapped in a death spiral financing agreement. I very much doubt it though. Atb Popeye.
Getrichslowly - Good call and the sensible approach. If they manage to get a raise away it will be an awful lot lower than the current price. They've already told us that they run out of cash next month. Today was an absolute gift for existing holders to get out at 6p. Today was a day to sell, not to buy.
All the 6p on the BID has been taken. All the 5p on the BID has been taken as well. At one stage today it was up 73%!!! Look where it is now, back in the 4's!!! I do hope people didn't listen to the blatant uneducated fool telling people this was going to close at 10p. Absolute nonsense. The company is in dire financial straits, whichever way you try to dress it up. I just hope that people had the sense to bail when they could. And the same idiot also stated that it was going to do another 50% tomorrow. Sadly that's not going to happen. Sit on your hands and wait until news of the funding is announced.
They smashed the granny out of 6p and now it looks like they're going to take all the 5p as well. Don't worry though it's going to be 10p close and the yanks are coming!!! Anyone seen them yanks yet??? Surely they're not still drinking their coffee??? Buggers aren't they!!!
"Wow lucky buyers getting a bite at 5.2p" This is comedy gold!!! Keep it coming. What happened to the 7p coming soon??? And 10p by close??? Will the buyers be even luckier when they get a bite at 4 5p??? Watch out for the big sell at the close, that will be our dear old friends Riverfort!!!
I do think of those that got spiked earlier at 6.5p, but you can't say they weren't warned. Unfortunately you have complete fools on here trying to tell folk that it's going to 7p soon and 10p by the close. They are deliberately trying to mislead people to install FOMO for their own benefit. This will close at 5p or below today and continue to drift lower tomorrow. Until the funding issues are addressed the SP and future of the company are extremely precarious. The fact that RF has a strangle hold on the company and is completely choking it is not helping the situation. Death spiral financing is never very pretty. You done well to sell. Good luck to you. Atb Popeye.
The BOD are completely stupid. The Company sent machines to foreign countries without instructions in the language of countries they were dispatched to. Do you think that's smart??? There are no institutional shareholders in Genedrive because they have no faith or trust in the inept, incompetent directors of this company. Shares are currently in the hands of retail shareholders and Riverfort, who can't lob them quick enough. This is currently a hot potato. Sadly people are going to get spiked here.
The CEO made it extremely clear that Genedrive will run out of cash next month and effectively will become insolvent. The company is desperately seeking additional funding. The operative word being "seeking". Which tells us they haven't secured funding yet. This was from the horses mouth, the CEO of the Company.
Jamrock - 2.5p to 3p at best. That will then double the amount of shares in issue. In the meantime the death spiral financing company Riverfort will advance them 1 or 2 more £300,000 advances, which will entail more dilution. As always Riverfort will be forward selling their shares.
What a load of rot. This will never see double figures again. Look at the big sells flooding in when the BID hit 6p!!! You seem to conveniently forget and fail to mention that they run out of money next month!!! If they manage to do a raise at anything above 3p then you can consider yourself very lucky. Quite a few going to get spiked here.
Jimzi - I totally agree. The major heart valve company have now been testing the material for 4 months. I also think that it's a positive that we've had no news. The volume is absolutely tiny. If 1 or 2 million buys went through then this would move up to 16-18p and then the heard and hot money will arrive and take it into the mid 20's. I'm extremely patient and prepared to wait. I don't need the money, so I'm quite prepared to give it the time that it needs. Good luck. Atb Popeye.
Niss - It will never hit 30p again in fact it will never make double digits pence wise again. The reality is it will never hit 10p again. I know it's hard for you to accept but you need to take a reality pill!!! It's over for Genedrive. Crooty summed it up yesterday. Institutional investors weren't interested a year ago and they're not interested now. Genedrive has been given too many chances. You are definitely not smarter than the city boy's and they've already turned their backs on Genedrive. Sometimes the truth hurts, but the sooner you come to accept it the better you will feel.
