I've committed the sacrificial sin and doubled up on Metro. My average is now 142p. However I look at it, I just can't see £200m mkt cap for Metro??? I've booked flights to Malaga this morning, and I'm flying out to Marbella for a week, flying out on Sunday. The drop has done exactly what it was intended to do, shake out as many holders as possible. I'm not even going to bother looking until I return. A lot of people have lost an awful lot of money on this!!! Good luck to everyone. I won't be posting until it's back above 160p. Atb. Popeye.

Jimjam - It's very important that it holds above 155p. It's tested it many times so far, but hasn't actually fallen through. If it can't hold 155p then I dread to think where the SP will go? Personally I would like to think that it will hold 155p. Atb.
RE: If there is an offer probably going to be 550p to 600p03 Mar 2020 21:11
Theo - Exactly. He did ask yesterday, and I chose not to answer, but I don't have a problem telling him. What I will also say. I don't sit in any stock and lose money if I can avoid it. There are going to be the exceptions when the markets are closed and a rns is released!!! But if I choose my entry and I've mistimed it, and it falls 10% then I will sell at a loss and come back in at a better entry price. I don't average down, that's a mugs game! Like a desperate gambler chases his losses! And as a rule I stay away from AIM. I'm investing what I consider to be large amounts. Atb. Popeye.

Bristolcupid - Sometimes I'm the punter and I back the horse and sometimes I'm the bookmaker and I lay the horse. What I don't do is lose money. Prior to the results I was short from 210p to recoup some losses from a trade at 220p. I never dreamt it would drop to 155p on results day. At 160p I closed and went long again. I know you asked yesterday, and I don't have a problem telling you. I'm currently long, but in hindsight should have sold at 190p again on results day, but I'm not underwater at the moment, and I'm happy with my current long position. Atb.

I'm all good thank you Ammu. We haven't heard from you for a long while. I was staying in Glasgow just before the new year. I went across to the west coast to look at a new boat. I did post some photos on the group site. Do you still read the messages? It's nice to hear from you, and I hope you're doing well. Atb. Popeye.

Good evening Ammu123. Fancy bumping into you here. How are you? I've got quite a few of these now. My original target was to be loaded up at 180p. I had to do a fair bit of shuffling, but I'm now loaded up at what I consider to be a good price, lower than the close today. Good luck with your trade. Atb. Popeye.

matlot - You did at one stage say that things would start to move very quickly. With the rns from Goldman Sachs and their 8% holding, how long do you think it will take for all this to unravel? Do we have to wait for the FCA outcome first? Or would they push ahead regardless of the FCA outcome? Your opinion would be appreciated. Atb
As ArielArrow rightly pointed out 155p is key. It needs to hold above that price. All the time it's above that price I am more than comfortable with my holdings. I wouldn't pay too much notice to the background noise on here. Just keep a very close eye on 155p. Atb
