You might right Bignose- but I am not sure why the early 2018 launch will necessarily slip back if the amended license is late. JM has only really tweeted of his super excitement, but that's what you would expect from a circa 30% shareholder. Th last tweet about being pheasantly surprised is a little more intriguing - why say it at all ? Not as if he can sell into a price rise ! After a good walk with the hound, still very war here I checked in on RP and note from the volumes that there appears no market expectation of an announcement after hours. Looking more like a pheasant surprise, but as you say, simply amending a few numbers does not take over a month to achieve. So what has caused the delay to even the end of Sept ?

Best you can do, refer to another uncorrelated stock and who knows how that will pan out - should have expected it rather than a well reasoned argument as to why Summ has yet to secure a commercial partner for C- Diff. Ollie, I would not wish you to believe I thought your post to be fictitious, merely that is was probably private, hence aj13 inability to find it.. I believe JM responds in good faith, although sometimes he does get things wrong. I don't think he would have used the term pleasant surprise if their was no substance to support that comment. I expect JG and JM will be receiving quite a few emails if no announcement is forthcoming.

Perhaps you could explain why Summ has been unable to attract a commercial partner to take C-Diff thru to market launch ? Mind you if you have yet to master the filter button, its probably beyond you.

C-Diff will not attract investors / big-pharma because the commercial returns are simply not attractive, plus government interference likely plus limited commercial lifespan. This is why big-pharma stepping away and govts have to provide funding and whack em over the head to continue antibiotic R&D. Its a terrible indictment of the world we live in, but sadly it is the reality.

If delayed, let's hope it is linked to a pleasant and pheasant surprise. On the face of it, its purely a legal exercise to redraft the agreements with the new terms, so why a delay? There was no indication that the amended license was conditional on readouts of any kind whatsoever. About time for a positive surprise but as you say I don'y think much will happen if there is no update tomorrow.

I think news that the Chinese government will urgently pass legislation to make it mandatory for every household to have at least once can of Fortacin on the premises at all times to assist with driving population growth to create domestic demand. Its only a rumour at this stage but Trumpoon also likely to follow suit. Failing this a pheasant voucher redeemable at your local Tesco's will be provided with very can purchased. I ma leaning towards the latter.

roti - absolutely disagree with that, if they were still awaiting test results JG would not have announced detail on the the amended terms indicating that the amended license would be signed off before the end of Sept and that the millstone payment would promptly follow. Some may think that he maybe that dumb but I do not. As for takeover, a company valued at just circa $60m , ''if'' you buy into the global blockbuster potential will always be a potential takeover target. Fortacin ticks a lot of boxes for a big-pharma product.

Traveling so cannot check but doesn't JG have circa 70m shares- he is fully incentivised to max share price, or better still sell the whole thing. Maybe there is more to come ( no pun intended) as Ollie indicates- seems an awful long time to amend a few terms already announced in advance.

JM was fairly swift in removing the old Ple board and shutting down the Urology dept - probably a very easy decision to reach, but he does appear pretty hands off leaving it to MW and JG. Factors such as silence on the DBC. website, payment of milestone although anecdotal were amongst many that pointed at a t/o .

Whilst I generally agree with views expressed about JG's competency I am also mindful that there are other parties involved in the process including MW, manufacturing partners and of course Recordati. Surely JG must have been taking counsel on pharma technical issues particularly in relation to manufacturing issues, and if given a bum steer, this may provide reason for some of his more misleading announcements of which the 6m being triggered is the most memorable. I believe the last delay form late 2017 to early 2018 was due to a now resolved manufacturing issue thus clearing the way to consummate ( no pun intended) the amended license. I tend to agree with that- who is pumping and dumping and how ? Volumes just seem too low. I think there is confusion between professional day traders and punters in small caps - the latter always get killed unless very lucky. Professional day traders look for liquidity and tight spreads - they typically use trading systems and technical indicators and the more sophisticated algorithms. You get a few fools on here that trade in hindsight and believe a 5 % gain is just that - of course they ignore the spread and the currency conversion costs.

Both- confirmation by end of Sept that amended license has been signed off with payment of milestone to follow in JG's words promptly thereafter.
