Seems a small number of HK investors playing around with this despite news. 3.8 billion shares traded in 20 days post UK launch and Maven able to offload 6.4% in 3 days ! I wonder what efforts are being made to promote this to the HK Brokerage community now that production issues are behind us and license signed-off.

I am confused as you are now saying there is no registration or case number whilst previously you referred to the lack of the same as an indicator of a potential problem. Surely the PEBQ and the scope thereof is agree ahead of March 2016. I am not really getting what the problem is ?

Alq- can you remind me, or provide any detail on the crucial Patient Reported Outcome issue to which you refer ? I am also not clear why any PRO issue would fall into the ''final development'' stages of Fortacin as described in the interim's- intuitively I would expect the scope of PRO required by the FDA to be agreed ahead of the final development stages. I presume that once a PRO report is submitted to the FDA that they assign a registration number to it.How long does it generally take between submission and the allocation of a registration number (again intuitively I would expect it to be almost immediately and used as a unique reference to any on -going discussions and correspondence between the FDA and RP)? Where would one look for this registration number please?

HK - indicated by year end China - I have no idea or know marketing plan- has been indicated by Alq on here, that approval would take many years. Perhaps it can be offered OTC. FDA - time frame pretty much set in stone as set out in company presentations. The key is for the HK investment community to buy into the Fortacin story and for the HK Brokerage houses to aggressively recommend the stock. Recent and future events such as the amended license, receipt of milestone and EU launch in early 2018 and any other license updates,should, fingers crossed, provide the catalyst for this to begin to happen ahead of those events. RP needs to demonstrate a pathway to commercial success that punters can believe and buy into.

Matt - I agree with your view and it appears that liquidity had dried up with a volume of just 50 m driving a 14% price rise. Could just be pumping and dumping as SS believes, if not a stake builder is the other alternative for lack of liquidity

Yeep in that it provides confirmation that the manufacturing process is commercially viable and complete. Any potential suitor will be most interested in the US mkt, although I note China again mentioned. Why make a formal bid for the entire share capital at this point in time and at a huge premium to the current market price which is still very modest ? I would continue to acquire shares as cheaply as possible as the US approval process moves forward. This does assume that any potential suitor is comfortable not disclosing its position to the HKEX - a situation which I don't believe is beyond the realms of possibility.

Prof - as I said earlier I have given up trying to second guess the mkt reaction to this one, even more so since the HK listing. However on the face of it , it's more significant than the UK launch and the headline numbers (whether targets are actually achieved or not) which may grab investors attention are chunky with more territories to follow. If the share price reaction is muted and volumes are low I would view that as being supportive of a stake being built post the UK Launch with the protection of the EMA approval being the trigger, for without that there is no business. Time will tell.

The Amended and Restated Licence Agreement provides that a formulation delivering 12 doses will be developed and commercialised. I just don't understand why JG would announce the amended terms which are specific, and state that he expected them to be signed-off before the end of Sept if there was anything that could possibly derail this process or that it was conditional upon some undisclosed event. He is a lawyer after all ! Surely you just wait until the end of Sept or whenever the amendments are signed-off and announce then if there is any doubt? Recordati presented at the the Urology Conference in London and Fortacin figures in all its presentations as part of its pipeline. I know this can easily be reversed but they seem committed to marketing Fortacin. I think there was a unexpected production issue which arose post March and this set them back a few months. It certainly caught JM out. Once this issue was resolved I think JG felt able to provide the update on the license. Anyway we will hear soon I am sure and in the meantime I await Ollie's pheasant.
