I greet the misunderstanding of simple mathematics with a smile among children. Among adults, it unfortunately arouses a little pity and confirms the common opinion about the state of knowledge not only in its post-primary fragment. However, when people who invest their money (allegedly) in company shares show a complete lack of economic knowledge and basic mathematics, ..., well, the value of their investment portfolio is no longer be surprising anyone. The market had huge expectations regarding ITV's half-year financial results, which instead of pleasing and confirming ITV's growing position - cause complaints. However, this has a big advantage, because it allows to clear the ITV share market of speculators focused on quick profit. The next few days should bring real assessments of this results coming from financial institutions. It will not convince morons and trolls anyway. And I am happy with the purchase of another 10k ITV shares at an attractive price for me. I will maintain my forecast for this year of £1.2-£1.5, and strong growth with the ITV share price in 2025 at £1.5-£3.00.

Maybe I wasn't right, but in my opinion it was an irder BUY with a max. price 89 pence, for about 2.5 milion shares. When was made on the after placing it on the market, it collected all the lying sell orders up to that price, and the unfulfilled demand was quickly filled by sell orders with a lower price level (by those who aretrying to take advantage of the opportunity and at the same time anticipate similar ones with a lower limit). In my opinion, an accidental order for an amount from £2 million to £2.5 million is unlikely here. Orders of this size are usually filtered by the system and require at least another confirmation to prevent errors generating losses. Of course, it is also possible to initiate a stop order after the price has broken out to around 84.5 - but there is still a question about the initiating order, because we have not seen such a stop from shorts at this level before. So 70:30 that it was an intentional purchase, not an error or accident.

As I checked it was probably over 2.5 millions shares bought by one buy order, with an average price of over 86 pence. This calculation also includes shares purchased shortly after, because it appears that the 88-pce limit buy order was not met in full, and only then was it met by sellers sensing an opportunity.

This is either a costly mistake (about £40-£50k loses if this shares was sold after this transaction), or someone was very desperate and aware that buying this amount of ITV shares in one day is difficult and has to be generated in one transaction so that the market meets the demand, with an allowance thinking that is an error and a chance for extra profits for the sellers.. We have had both situations in the past. I think that as usual we will have the opportunity to at least partially satisfy our curiosity within the next 7 trading days.

As far as I'm concerned, there's no coincidence here. Confirming an order isn't just one click. But that's just my opinion.

I wrote that socialism in politics made by both main UK parties, means that soon all of us who work legally and hard in this country will become immigrants travelling in proverbial boats across the Channel in the opposite direction, leaving the UK. It hurts more to see someone else's profits... even than to see your own losses. That's why I'm happy to remind this troll about the 330k ITV shares in my single-stock portfolio.

Just a short conclusion. There are still people here who repeatedly (always at a local price peak) sell all their ITV shares. And of course they encourage others to sell, because it will probably be cheaper... They never brag about purchases, because it could turn out that they really didn't, or the profits are not enough for a coffee. Will today's price jump turn out to be a mistake or a good investment,? As for me and looking back at similar ones on ITV shares, someone has just guaranteed themselves at least £250k - £350k profit over the next few days. But that's just my opinion.

Someone made small mistake and just bought over 2.1 million ITV shares up to 87.10 pence (89 pence maximum today's price on the BATS Europe). Hm...is it a mistake or once again like before announcement of buyback someone's feel better this market like trolls.

Unfortunately, this message is carried by all media, as well as social media. Any criticism of the state of affairs in today's world is met with the term as a racism or intolerance. That is why we are where we are, with the problem of illegal emigration to the UK, or a gang of slackers who have never been work, which the rest of society has to pay. Unfortunately, a large group of people do not see the connection this situation with such issues as the issue of high taxes, underfunded and above all overburdened health service, shortages on the housing market combined with unrealistic valuations driven by the lack of supply, and hysteria fueled by the media. I remember this country 20 years ago.

Socialism made by both major parties is bringing us the social and moral decline of this country. The lack of respect for those paying taxes, their effort and work is a recipe for this that a few years when boats with emigrants will not be heading to the UK but in the opposite direction. I don't think so that any from us want it (I am not thinking about Russian trolls).

Spammers abound here. As you can see, new accounts are still being created. One thing that hasn't changed in me is the assessment of ITV, its management and the hatred they are trying to play off. The Russian troll still hasn't given up. However, what is more important to us, real ITV investors, is that we have a chance for a stabilization of the market environment, which should bring an increase in the advertising budgets of companies and, consequently, an increase in ITV's revenues. I would also like to note that the current valuation of ITV shares, with simultaneous downward trends in the air transport sector companies (and not only) reflected in the FTSE100 index, has caused a shift in the FTSE All-Share Index Ranking to positions 106-105. An increase in the ITV share price to around £1.08 will allow for a return to this index.

Only three more days and we will see if our patience will be rewarded. The improvement in ITV's financial results, the announcement of an interim dividend and an increase in generated profits in the perspective of the next few months have a chance to meet the market expectations. In addition, the upcoming interest rate cuts together with the political earthquake in the USA, which brings the chance of electing president from the Democratic President in the USA - should be enough as a strong fuel for the growth of the price of ITV shares. So real investors - let's arm ourselves with patience. It's yours time.

The number of troll accounts is still growing. The pain of financial failure has its second meaning here. It is not worth reminding that we are dealing with an imbecile.

But as again like was before when this Russian troll spread hate speech, used vulgar comparisons and invectives or made up accusations towards Dame - without any reaction. Everything what he said is easy to find in the chat history. I think that we will simply have to file a direct complaint to the police. This forum functions for a specific purpose, and it is certainly not to spreading lies about ITV, hatred towards people or a nation that, attacked by its neighbor, is now fighting for the right to exist. Russia is a bandit country, and Putin is a criminal according to international law. And it is worth remembering that.
