So, in terms of self-assessment. I have done a summary of my investment in ITV. Start - February 2022.
On the start of this year I have about 210,600 ITV shares and I spend circa £153k. At the end of last week I have 362,000 ITV shares with my total investment at the level of about £236,700. It includes reinvestment from the dividend received. In addition, over the past few years I have paid about £950 in tax on the dividend received. When we take this into account, it turns out that my average purchase price of shares is currently about 65.7 pence. At Friday's closing price of 82.20, this is over 25% return on the total invested capital over a period of about 2.5 years. What does this say about my investment system and specifically the investment in ITV shares? Well, I propose to calculate it proportionally to your capital to each participant of this forum. Of course, this does not mean that it cannot be done better. But observing my friends, one rule is fundamental here. The larger the capital we turn over, the smaller our profits are proportionally to it.
