Precisely... And whilst I understand Budge treading lightly during this pandemic, and not pushing for a decision (I wholly disagree but understand why) let’s not forget that in Sweden, they have taken a very different route to most of Europe. So it’s fair to assume that Covid-19 will be used as an excuse to justify ongoing delays, it really shouldn’t be as their politicians and civil servants aren’t exactly pulled out are they!

And just a thought... perhaps Budge could take a wage cut to help with the cash-burn. What with these being difficult times and all...

Who remembers 7-years ago on Thursday (23rd April 2013 - A date seared into the minds of investors, surely?), And the photo of Clive Sinclair-Poulton Proudly handing our exploitation licence application over to the Mining Inspectorate? A process that was expected to take “6-9 months” (Note the quotation marks). For those unaware, the following is the primary function of the Mining Inspectorate:

“The Mining Inspectorate of Sweden is responsible for issuing permits for exploration and mining. The Inspectorate is headed by the Chief Mining Inspector who decides on matters falling under the Minerals Act.

The Mining Inspectorate issues permits for mineral exploration (exploration permits) and mines (exploitation concessions). The Inspectorate also carries out inspections of mines and provides information on mineral legislation and prospecting in Sweden.

The Mining Inspectorate is headed by the Chief Mining Inspector who decides on matters falling under the Minerals Act (1991:45).

The Mining Inspectorate is part of the Geological Survey of Sweden (SGU), the agency for issues relating to bedrock, soil and groundwater in Sweden.

The Mining Inspectorate was established as a state authority in 1637”.

Now forgive me, but what is so complicated? Patience has served the Swedish authorities well. Not so Beowulf and it’s long suffering investors.

It’s just another excuse Juicy. There’s no doubting the seriousness of the situation surrounding this pandemic, but it’s fanciful to think that all members of government and civil servants are somehow completely distracted by it. It’s just another excuse for inaction. It could be months before any degree of normality is achieved... The 7th anniversary of our submission draws ever so closer...

From Wednesday and by a Swedish poster... An email professing to be from a government official stating that work on the Kallak dossier is delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. You couldn’t make this up. If it’s true, given the Swedish response to the current issue, they are hardly pulled-out with it are they? (Displaying the same inertia to a public health crisis is at least consistent) And as being CEO of Beowulf is hardly a full time job, you’d hope that Budge is on top of things like this, and is at least seeking clarification on the alleged inactivity. It’s not as though the world has stopped completely...

But that’s not true of all of the large sells, with no comparative buy... My investment and subsequent buys have always been tucked away in an ISA, given that ‘news comes come at any moment’... lol

Two huge sells, but there has been a general pattern of significant sells over the last few weeks, interspersed with smaller buys. It’s easier to trade in Sweden as the spread is negligible. Here? Not so...

‘Tangible’ - What a great word deliberately used in my own post. Because for all the chatter in the corridors of power about mining, kallak and the industry in general, it’s just chatter; And there is absolutely nothing tangible to suggest that the company has progressed. Significant share dilution, which is of course the only means to raise cash for a company that is not cash generative - Fair play. But to use the funds generated investing in two privately owned companies is completely nonsensical - Regardless of their potential, they are a cash drain. The SP is dire, and irrespective of the current situation, other shares have experienced a bounce. Where is the value for shareholders? Now wait to get shouted down by posters that offer absolutely nothing of value themselves.

Are you really suggesting that since the 23rd April 2013, When the exploitation licence application was submitted, ironically under the stewardship of CSP, there has been no tangible progress at all? Oh... wait... lol

I'm just waiting for the 'In Kurt we trust' quote from Geovanni... It's your investment for crying out loud...

It’s strange that investors don’t question anything? The SP slides but that’s just fine... Budge has been in position since October 2014. Where’s the shareholder value?

So roughly £210k down from that already? Based on monthly cash burn and another £70k on Vardar... Another share issue will happen, but at what price. Patience has got us nowhere. Maybe you’re later to this Beowulf game here than others here?

Where does the SP go from here I wonder, and at what price any subsequent discounted share issue?

Maybe their top guy is on £3k per week too?

What has the previous £1m investment been spent on if they can’t afford £70k for soil sampling?

Wouldn't it be fantastic to think that the Swedish Government would want to stimulate it's economy? But it won't - At least not to the point of having a positive impact on BEM. There are several coalition governments throughout Europe, where government by consensus is employed. These governments are rarely decisive, as the desire to retain and maintain the status quo (Power), particularly when the Politicians are political ideologues such as The Green Party is their main driving force. Even Germany is stuttering politically. The Liberal Democrats were very much the junior partner with the Conservatives, and ultimately paid the price, having capitulated on some of their key policies without anything seemingly in return, And are unlikely to get anywhere near Government for the foreseeable future. However Stefan Lofven and his ilk are so reliant upon the Greens, and are so determined to retain their position, that they will cave in to the demands of the Green Party whatever the cost. That's assuming that Kallak will be decided by the law, and not politics? LMAO
