Swedish steel has built Sweden's prosperity over the centuries. As with our other industries, steel production creates jobs in many parts of the country, both directly and also by employing many other companies that in turn employ many more. Sweden is an industrial country and we will continue to be.

But just like many other industries, steel production all over the world contributes to major climate emissions. The industry is well aware that it can't continue this way and is making great efforts to reduce its emissions.

The demand for steel will not decrease in the future. On the other hand, demand for fossil-free steel produced will increase sharply and of course the Swedish steel industry will capture many of the opportunities for export and jobs that it entails.

Stefan Löfven and Isabella Lövin participated today at the opening of Hybrit's pilot plant in Luleå. It is a project where the business world, supported by the state, will develop methods for fossil-free steel production. This is how it should go in Sweden, we jointly invest in what builds Sweden more sustainably and at the same time creates new jobs.

I think the same... Barely any restrictions, and yet KB gives Covid and travel restrictions as a reason for delaying the drilling programme. It makes no sense at all. When 2020 draws to a close, what will have been achieved on Kallak? Another wasted year...

I accept that. But our AGM’s aren’t exactly crowded from previous experience. And yes, at what point does KB draw the line and change tact? Because however you look at it, without wishing summer away, 2021 and an 8th candle beckons. And the current approach is not working.

And as for the loan, if not repaid (and unless the licence is issued, it won’t), expect a small rise on the Swedish Market around the 15th Feb 2021 when the loan will be converted to SDR’s and then slowly drip-fed onto the market. I guarantee it...

And several of us have had conversations with KB. He is open to dialogue, so it’s not as if an AGM is our only opportunity. The fact is, there is little news flow...

KB has made it clear what he won’t do in respect of our application - Pursue legal action. In my opinion legal action is the the only recourse that we have. To simply sit and wait is of course an option, and one pursued without success. This has set the company back years. I have become broadly supportive of Fennoscandien and Vardar, but they too are years away from being cash generative.

Governments are called to court frequently. In the UK the FUB pursued legal action due to the changeS to public service pensions - They won, and the process took 12-18 months. A far more complex matter than a mine. What is to fear? There is nothing to lose.

As for the guarantees given to the Nordic investors? They get a discounted slice of BEM, which would then be sold on to a rising market (Which always magically seems to occur just before a placing...)
