Jokkmokk municipality needs to demolish thousands of square meters of public premises to reduce its costs. This is because the municipality's infrastructure is based on what it was like when it had between ten and eleven thousand inhabitants. Today, just under five thousand people live in the country's second largest municipality to the surface.
The population in Jokkmokk municipality has decreased by an average of 39 people in the last four half years. If, against all odds, it continued at exactly the same pace, the municipality would be completely empty in a little less than 63 years.

However, it is not really that bad, believes municipal councilor Robert Bernhardsson (S).

Agree... We know the iron is there, and we know it’s a quality product. But drilling adds value in the ground and creates genuine investor interest.

It was a timely RNS for sure, but what I’d really like is a genuine explanation as to shy the drill program was ‘postponed’, when Sweden clearly doesn’t have the same restrictions on movement imposed elsewhere in Europe?

Yes positive, but as per my previous point about the spread, if I purchased at roughly 5p, and sold at roughly 6p, I would have broken even - Despite what appears to be a considerable rise. The spread has improved, but it’s only those shouty ones that appear and tell everyone to count their new found wealth that are delusional. We are barely better placed than a week ago. Of course I prefer where we are now... but let’s be realistic. It’s Kallak or bust. The wait continues...

A question tabled today in parliament, and significant why? Because it’s questioning the wisdom of the government interfering in the role of the judiciary. And in the case of Preem, when the Supreme Court has given the go-ahead.
