Sums it up really..35p here we come..smoke and mirrors all over the TU again. Cash burn is so bad. Ingenuity strong but it’s been carved out for pennies. Hilarious really.

Today should answer a lot of questions..the myprotein rebrand compete, the collaborations with Iceland, muller, Jimmys etc should all start to show in the numbers if they have been successful / increased profile..if not and we are still in decline..the team and Matt have failed no arguments.

I don’t want to hear excuses..rebrand, yen, wars, politics etc (have impacted other beauty and protein companies..who are showing solid growth) .

The investor call happened last year but was announced in the RHS for 8.30 the same morning..hasn’t learnt lesson about giving investors time..worries me, not time to digest and ask the right questions. Leopard never changes its spots.

A blue day and everyone starts getting excited..let’s see volume increase and a really clear trading update with no smoke and mirrors rubbish..need to be very clear on growth, debt and cash reserves and hopefully an update on the the board and how the glaringly obvious conflict of interest, with MM at both ingenuity and remainco, is going to be addressed..then I think II’s will start to take it serious..best outcome..sell half of nutrition, pay big portion of debt off and MM steps into a BOD position with a new CEO coming in..that will move the SP significantly north..no growth in nutrition, silent on debt..the SP will be smashed. Let’s hope for the former.

There is no need for ingenuity to be included..each business has, apparently, been independently split for a long time now so it should be an easy thing to run p&l’s for nutrition & beauty and add them together..think even THG can do this.

They won’t want to publish info on ingenuity now..if they did include and it was the only division showing growth and decent improvements..how would this look? Like they had carved out an improving business unit with potential for significant growth and that had £1bn+ invested in it over the last 4-5 years whereas remainco has been left holding a £600m debt..oh Christ wait a darn minute!

£200m net debt I suspect is significantly wrong..don’t forget MM included the £170m revolving credit as his own money, reduced to £150m in December. Also if you think they haven't touched any of the cash reserves in the last 6 months..incorrect assumption I assumption. Net debt closer to 400-500m I suspect..excluding lease liabilities. I suspect this is one of the reasons the SP is being smashed as there’s no known plan in place as to how this is going to be serviced after the next 12 months…
