The company has assets and value so no real discount imo. Once contracts come through then it will get sold with less than 10% discount bearing in mind the chances of 201 and CLX deals.

No I don’t. Again absolute tosh. Val is unique because it does not do clinical trials anymore. The aim is to get a deal at preclinical stage which can be very valuable. The lab needs staff, evaluation projects which cost money, all compounds needs money to progress although not so much without trials. It needs staff and numbers which they have.

I think finances here are outstanding and well managed. In fact the best part this BOD has done is to manage the finances when so much is going on in terms of lab development to be able to offer pre clinical testing and develop drugs.

Not saying all is perfect. I would have liked them to have purchased more shares on the open market at least one of two BOD members or for Adam to be on board but the rest is fine. The next move will be important and I may change my mind but I expect decent news in the coming days. I think that is fair unlike your constant biased negative comments for whatever your agenda is.

Yes but Adam purchased Val mainly based on 201 at much higher prices so it don’t mean anything. You have to DYOR. He has far more in Val.

Not attacking just stating it don’t have the same upside potential imo and was burning 6 million odd when the placing happened with a lower MC. It still needs to prove how it is reducing cash burn significantly enough whilst producing something massively valuable for the market cap to increase enough. If not cash will run out much faster and without anything valuable then it will not work out. Contracts with numbers means little unless cash burn reduces enough to make a decent impact but also a product coming to market or deal of some kind needs to happen. Val has this potential on many fronts but just needs it to happen. Our cash burn is low at the same time the company has lots of potential and value at this price. In fact with a 201 deal and a few contracts which we will get our cash balance could even be positive with huge milestone payments giving us a MC multiples of where we are.

Well I just find it funny how you seem to find every little thing about Val negative over the last few years. You should know that everyone knows that you twist things to suit your agenda.

Using words like expected and has generated 500k in revenue when burning 6 million means nothing and shows your twisting facts to suit your agenda. You never answered my one question either. What is the potential upside and why. The truth is you have no idea so not much upside. If cash burn don’t reduce in a few months it will tank again at the same time not much upside like Val.

Val only burns 2 million a year ignoring asset purchase. Will generate significant revenue and at least one deal expected soon. I’ll stick to Val thanks rather than a company trying to reduce costs from 6 million burn with no real deal potential.

Tell me how you expect APTA to get to 20/50/100 million market cap anytime soon. If Val gets a deal it should move big even if it don’t progress will be factored in and the preclinical contract wins will be significant.

Well I have one question and one question only. What is the upside for APTA. Nothing much in my view. They have to break even first and based on the broker report will take time then not sure where the company goes. Nothing really more to sell other than small contracts.

A single deal here can instantly take us to 50 million MC. We have two decent shots soon with CLX and 201 and also the lab alone will likely be worth more than APTA soon and certainly more than PYC with Imogen being part of it.

The cash burn is very, very low here. Add in revenues and they could only be burning 1 million odd a year in the coming months.

The likely value of the lab will soon be about 10 million. Imogen was generating more revenue than PYC does and likely worth more just that it went bust due to such high staff numbers. Val still has access to the clients. Add in all the collaborations and the offering of most of the preclinical testing and access to various services. That is huge revenue as preclinical testing is not cheap.

CLX worth 20 million odd. An opinion of someone senior who works in the field unlike you.

201 it is still on until they say. Therefore it still has significant value even though not priced in. If deal completes that will come into play bigtime.

You compare to the likes of PYC and APTA. PYC has no assets/compounds just offers data modelling work. VAL has compounds that cost 10s million to progress and the potential to secure deals worth 100s million and a full preclinical testing service. APTA was burning 6 million a year with very large staff numbers and about to go bust due to the amount of cash required. Again it doesn't have assets like VAL that will take it to a decent market cap so easily.

More likely we will be between 10p-40p when a placing happens because I am expecting lots of news and 201 soon. Why else would they be waiting. Great risk to reward 10% temporary downside in my opinion 1000% potential upside.

BIg day tomorrow with the launch of the lab. Maybe an RNS or two. Must be a reason for the launch as the lab was already in place. To me it signals an official opening a bit like a business opening for the first time.

All the work and preparation has been done so it would be interesting to see what comes out. It can only really be positive.

Well he spent the entire last year promising one in July after the AGM. I think he meant 2024 as it has now been almost 3 months.

Also worth noting VAL cash burn is not 2.5 million. They purchased Imogen so H1 figures include the cost to purchase the asset. Real cash cush burn is less than 2 million a year. Pre clinical contracts will likely generate a number of decent 6 figure contracts over the next 12 months. It has taken time already and they are ready to go after the launch and after doing all the groundwork to negotiate with clients the last few months. 201 cash over 12 months if it gets done about 2 million odd and also warrants to be executed.

Therefore no placing needed or at least for a long time.

I think we will get news on several fronts. 201 and some lab contracts giving us cash. If 201 happens then warrants are also likely to be executed from 14p giving even more cash.

The launch of the lab means significant revenue over the next 6-12 months with maybe 1-2 more lab staff at a later date. Many contracts tend to be short term. The current one was only 3 months and will bring some cash in. Look at PYC 3 months contract for 100k odd. The estimated 2 million upfront payment for 201 over the next 12 months if it gets done now is a game changer if it happens.

I think if 201 happens then I would expect a minimum 25/30 million market cap so 25/30p minimum. Bearing in mind a potential 65 million payment if it successfully passes trials plus royalties which is likely to be 10s/100s millions. Even if the terms were changed it would not matter as our market cap is only 6 million.

Furthermore, Val will likely be 20,25,30,40 p if the deal gets completed with other news. The deal will give us more time and further upside and by then a second deal for CLX could be on the cards.

The old BOD were in control in the past and the general opinion is that they were corrupt. Valirx were also doing expensive clinical trials which cost many millions and resulted in big dilutions. That has all changed although the current BOD now needs to start bringing in value to the SP which I think they will do now.

The official launch of the lab this month tells me they are now shifting from building the company to adding value. The launch tells us Valirx is now open for business offering pre-clinical services which will bring in huge revenue. This is for the first time in 20 odd years so a big moment in the history of the company.

201 should also be coming to a conclusion very soon and an update for CLX. I suspect the launch of the lab will bring in 1/2 new compounds which they will turn around in a matter of months. I think lots of news is due from this week over the next 3/4 weeks.

My view is the financing on 201 is agreed and just needs a signature.

Work needs to be done in the lab before the patent is filed.

Suzy knows 201 will get done this year because everything is in place. This would be based on progress.

Maybe we will see a patent filed first shortly before the deal completes. Either way it's a busy month and I'm looking forward to the lab launch.

They have had a long time to prepare and given all the collaborations and asset purchases I am expecting some decent news.

First news could be the completion of the current revenue generating contract they have expected to complete this month. Stick a nice £ sign next to it and roll out more.

My guess is that 201 will come with all those handful of lab contracts including one or two big name to create momentum. Followed by CLX or 301 news as well.

I am expecting a 201 deal soon otherwise the chit would have hit the fan already. No doubt they have something lined up and we open at hopefully 20 p plus and double/triple from that point. If not some decent news on CLX/301 and lots of revenue contracts extending cash.

3 p rise for 201 with what 2 million cash over the next year and potentially 65 million if it gets to market plus royalty payments and being Val's first ever deal. More like 60 p.

3 p for a placing when demand would be enormous for minimum cash at these prices with cash and strong revenue and deal prospects. I suspect they would be over subscribed even at 6 p because with cash the prospects are enormous.

Your posting history deramping almost every stock you post on says it all.

Both broker reports suggested early 2024 which is the fact but that is likely to be extended significantly by year end. With large revenue contracts this should extend it further. A deal would be a game changer and either 201 or CLX is likely in the next 6 months.

H1 burn rate was higher than H2 due to the asset they purchased and costs associated with it. Now to generate revenue and lots of news to come. Value adding news soon plus deals allowing warrants to be executed.

Expecting us to easily double from here at least. Maybe a five bagger first.

So what if they raise 1 million at 10/15p in a few months or after 201 at 25p/30p. Matters not.

They are always loss making until that deal comes through. Just how it works. Val don't do trials so we burn far less than almost any other similar company so no big placings that end up in consolidations like the past.

The value is the value of compounds. The research, time and money it takes to progress to eventually get the deal which could be 10/20 times or more our MC.

Most AIM drug development companies are valued at around 20/30 million with nothing on the market. Likes of Synairgen was valued at 300 million, SAR 300 million with just a preclinical deal. Not hard to understand.

Val is trying to change that as well by now generating revenue as well. Eventually to cover costs. Both sides of the business will have big value.

Lol Siennaj. Can you explain to us how you think PYC would get to a market cap of 25,50,100,150 million? Val can from 6 million fairly easily and has been close to 50 million in the past with far less.

Also what compounds does it have? It has software that generates revenue to cover costs. Val is a drug development company with valuable compounds. Big difference. Also revenue to come not just covering one tiny part of pre-clinical but hopefully the entire pre clinical process therefore much higher revenue margins.

I agree at 1p it was cheap but it can only go so far with what it has. Val on the other hand can go up 5/10/20/50 times from here should a deal materialise or any hint of it. It is two companies in one where the drug development side has far more upside.
