So I asked chat GTP how much an IND drug should be worth: Here is the answer 20-30 million for oncology. A strong buy at this market cap imo:
As far as I know that is the target for this year plus we got the 401 deal. Valirx could be worth more than 10 million by year end.
What does “indication stage in preclinical” mean?
This typically means:
A specific disease or condition (indication) has been chosen.
The drug is still in preclinical development (i.e., not yet tested in humans).
Some proof-of-concept in vitro/in vivo data may exist.
There is no IND (Investigational New Drug) application filed yet.
💵 How much is a drug worth at this stage?
Valuation is usually determined by:
Stage of development (earlier = more risk = lower value).
Size of the potential market.
Competitive landscape.
IP position.
Preclinical data strength.
⚖️ Typical Valuation Range (as of recent industry norms):
$2 million to $10 million: for assets with a clear target and decent preclinical data.
Up to $20–30 million: if the asset targets a large market (e.g., oncology, CNS) and has strong preclinical efficacy/safety data.
< $1 million or option deals: if it’s early or unproven (e.g., hit-to-lead stage or little differentiation).
🧠 Note: These are “upfront” or “asset value” numbers, not total deal value including milestones/royalties.
