Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
What are we talking here, is this a mistake, a send up or have we actually got some U and not just V?
You obviously haven't heard of the 1 for 10 consolidation on relisting then?
Paddy , Your altruistic motives for posting here in an somewhat vain attempt to protect us mere mortals from ourselves is appreciated but I think you have spent far too much time already on a bunch of oiks such as we. We are a lost cause, your kind endeavours and gracious advice given so freely would be more welcomed and appreciated elsewhere where the cause is not so desperate.

BMR, This is old ground and the consensus was that construction complete by end of Sep. Hence JLP's intended schedule to start May (early presumably) and to take 5 months ie to the end of Sep. Commissioning can't start (except perhaps piecemeal on specific parts of the plant) until the plant is built so (final) commissioning from end of September and then to production as quickly as possible, but in all events before the end of the year. Wording of the RNS is poor.
Think the board agreed the other day that construction had to be complete by the end of September followed immediately by commissioning and production started as soon as possible after but certainly before the end of December. Wording of the relevant RNS was not brilliant.
We MUST be producing before the end of December or else we lose the licence.
NCK, I doubt we will ever find out or really want to. He's probably been planted to cause mischief but the purpose is unfathomable to me. Got a feeling he may not be reappearing as this avatar after his last post this morning.
paddwa, without a diatribe could you just outline your investment strategy here: The shares are currently suspended, when they come back will you be a) Be buying BMR, b) Shorting BMR, c) Buying JLP on the hope of taking BMR out for a song or d) Something else? Your rhetoric here must be to improve the chances of your strategy when it comes into play, just what is it?
Lets hope that placings are behind us and we get to a position that a rights or oo is the order of the day to finance further expansion on the back of a successful Kabwe project.
I don't think your point about liability is relevant, in that sense his personal holding is no different than ours. It' s just a matter how the number of shares are counted. Company or company plus directors holdings? If you are worried about dilution, buy some, on numerous occasions i have bought below the placing price. (unfortunately of fortunately depending on your position that may not be the case this time round.).
Would CB's shares as a director of JLP and those of JLP added together constitute a concert party and as such have to maintain the <30% holding to avoid a tender offer?
After all isn't that why BMR calls in routinely on our behalf.
I think anyone who has access to AB would have a better picture of the situation than us plebs by virtue of them being face to face it doesn't have to be price sensitive info but could answer some of their concerns.
I think the placees are pretty certain that over 5p is easily achievable in the timescale or they wouldn't have agreed to the placing arrangements and they are probably party to more info than we are.
Yes as I'm sure the JV will be a goer and cash raised to survive sorted by then and given the new stipulations of the ZG early production seems likely. Best position for years now.

What price is anyone looking to buy at on readmission? I suspect we'll open 3.5p'ish. I'd grab some at anything below.
The warrants allow the buyer (ie those taking part in the 3p placing) to buy a similar amount of shares within a six month period at 5p that's what they'll cost the buyer.
3card, if you take that interpretation ie commissioning complete by 30th Sept. Then I'd expect meaningful production to start immediately so why the given gap between 30th Sept and end December. I believe it's commissioning to begin by 30th September ie immediately after plant construction that's why the RNS is ambiguous.
