Not sure this divorce will have any affect on our sale.
If he buys a part of EUAv1 for, say x billion, then their cash (or loans) drops by that amount, and that same amount will appear as an asset valued at x billion on the year end accounts, so net zero affect on the divorce.
Only if the asset bought can be demonstrably proven to be worth more than the price bought at will he pay more in a divorce…. And I’m 100% sure an eua asset won’t be let go on the cheap, otherwise it would be done by now.
I don’t think that’s a factor in the wait…. Unless it’s taking too much personal time, in which case the board would fill the shortfall in exec hours.

It does seem like a precursor to some good results though, and basically saying ‘we’re just getting started, wait until next year!’

By 2024 EUAv2 aims to be producing 17,000 tons of hydrogen per year to start them off….
This is only about $300m per year revenue, at todays prices… or about a third of our MC.
Add to that any revenue from any un-sold mines that are producing by then, plus WK with its leccy dragline…
Phew….
Ramping up to $3bn per year (at todays prices) in 8yrs time.

Hydrogen costs a bomb…..

Target production by 2030 of hydrogen for EUAv2 is 170,000 tons per annum.
Currently hydrogen costs $16.50 per kilo, or $16,500 per ton.
170,000 tons is worth just shy of $3bn per year in revenue.
£650m current market capital??? Yeah, whatevs…… not planning on selling any of my stash…

Surprisingly calm here despite being back below my average after a brief rally a couple of weeks back.... While we wait for things to take their course... Rubbish week on AIM, with everything being pretty much down (My small holding on ADV is now significantly smaller after they "drilled a duster"), and Crypto and plummeted to boot. SO actually my PAT holding staying absolutely static in amongst the turbulence is quite welcome.

Jackodlad, when NN let it go there was not enough demand and the price for nickel was lower. There is significant demand now and is forecasted to be a shortage due to EVs in the coming years.

Fr.jack.Hackett, I agree with that but can’t get my head around one thing.

If you look at the make up of the mines, they are not just one metal in each tonne of ore.. A nickel deposit also has other significant value in every tonne it digs up.. I’m no geologist, but I assume these can be separated on processing in a smelter in to the various constituents? I guess it’s a case of reprocessing tailings? But if these are on land owned by the newly sold kola nickel then how does that work?

So how do you sell the nickel assets without damaging your pgm or hydrogen business arms?

Obviously there is a way, but thing I can think of is that it’s a bloody complex deal which allows some sort of buy back of the other metals, but then who stumps up for the extraction…? Are Eurasia putting together a deal where different parties work together?

Confused musings, as I woke up trying to work out how they’re gonna do it… might got back to sleep..
