Thanks element and that makes sense that the drilling would only occur from effectively a horizontal location and smaller distances BUT sounds like another potential big target and I presume SD and mgmt team are aware of this ole data?

Struggling to understand how 1.3m oz could not have been mentioned in any GGP reports from historic works!!! Even if to say we are going to rework to prove this up!

The main dome underground and the WDU are about 1km away from each other? Element/Bamps are you saying from whatever document you have possession off that previous drilling between the two points was done and significant intercepts were found that potentially could link the two as one large substructure?

Lets hope that is the case and Deserts revenge with the same geology has the same outcome as Telfer

Where did you see this Bamps - is that the east or west limb extension in WDU that is open at depth? OR was this from historical drill information.

In the results they only had 2 of the 9 available drilling results for WDU so be interesting what the other 7 came up with.

Seems to be some nervous nellies or MMs causing issues :-) The fact is we await the announcement that we have been told we will get before year end in that we have been able to commence full live testing and production has commenced. I do think once this little bit of information comes to light then this will start the re-rating and if it does not then will continue to buy at sub 30p as when you look at the current market cap it should be north of £150m+ when 9 wells are operating by end of next year and with further knowledge/understanding of the field also known in the next 12 months. Exciting times.

Speedy i hope not in the next 1-2 years as your talking a central banking system or corporate default but country defaults which is a little more serious for everyone on this thread and a great depression is not something that people will want to experience. Would make the 2008 credit crunch look like a kids picnic!

Thanks for the Stuart Hind posts - One thing many of us on here think is that gold mining stocks are not being valued at the current gold price and many are still being valued at 2600-3000 range gold price. The question which will be answered over the next 1-2 years is whether the gold price of 3500+ an oz is here to stay and if so then we will see a complete re-rating of the gold producer sector to the new norms of high margins.

Before i get the response we will see gold at 7000+ usd an oz etc. That is all great but if gold was to hit that in the next 1-2 years then we have alot bigger problems in our society and world and preferably i would not want to see that as the impact on all our lifes and our loved ones would be monumental!!

What’s good is that hope of 10 years plus for Telfer and the market being informed that alongside the FS which will have an inferred initial timeframe of production as well.

Got to say seeing a strategy of going after other deposits , developing ocallaghans etc are all part of that future strategy I would hope!

Why would you raise money when you have FCF to cover go forward costs! You would borrow money rather than do an equity raise but both are unlikely. Who are you working for bagazz??

I think SD and the team always knew there was more than 18 months of feed from Telfer but they also knew it needed to be proved up which is what comes first half of next year. The questions is what is the size of the increase of reserve and how many years of production? I am really hoping for a 10 year mine life plus

I look forward to the FS not just for the financials on haverion but also to see what the strategy is for the area as another processing facility rather than trucking ore to Telfer will give an indication for me on ocallaghans direction and also potentially how big Shaun’s ambition is to grow GGP into a lot larger mining company and not purely a gold play!!

Bamps really interested in the accretive value they can add with Telfer and haverion with the resource updates. The FS I am looking forward too and did wonder the 5.9m trading day this week in Oz and SP increase whether some information was now out in domain. I am very interested in what decision is going to be made on ocallgahans it is starting to seem to me that where the 20mt dual train processing facility was more than enough I am starting to wonder whether that is the case for the Patterson region. Do they look in 2-3 years time having another 5mt processing purely for haverion and using the Telfer facility for Telfer, o Callaghan’s and any other ore body found by GGP or other miner needing processing capability??

The first one is included in the detailed drilling results at the end of the quarterly but not the second one. I have just emailed GGP to ask the question as there is an anomaly which is either way - they are drilling and they were the only results from two holes OR they were historic and one of them should not have been included in the detailed drilling results.

Hi Bamps - after reviewing Figure 17 in the last quarterly around Deserts Revenge there is definitely anomalies across an area of 300-400m that SD must be excited about but there was no mention of any further drilling of this prospect even though the results from Moombarringa Geoscience were highly positive in figure 16 but more importantly figure 17!

What i find also interesting is the second sample of 145g/t is not in the detailed results in the quarterly but the first one was. Was this late results that were coming in from drilling and was added but they failed to put in the detail appendices of the RNS OR is it a historical result from another point in time? Also the second drilling result is not included in the figure 17 location but first sample is..
