Dip i am certainly on the same page as you. If by second half of next year we have not re-rated to even within 20% of other gold producers on the ASX or FTSE which for me would be circa £5 with a true value closer to £6 based on 320k ozs a year and 3800 AUD FCF margin per oz PE post tax of 8, then i will be taking a decision to move on.

I do think though there is things that Shaun and the team can do between now and then though to bolster the price and i read someone else on here talking about dividends and i would agree that and a share buyback with the excess cashflow would help bolster the price. I do think also using some debt to fund Haveiron while at the same time utilising dividends/buybacks should be in the arsenal of SD and the BOD of GGP to rerate what is classified by many as an undervalued stock.

Until then alot of potential good news to help the re-rating BUT as Dip said there are stocks that are just unloved and lets hope that GGP can change that in the next 12 months!

Sage the point about Telfer being a long term producing asset is what the markets want evidence that is signed off by a third party. I am happy to hold and watch what happens over the next 12 months as i do feel the rerating will come but when and what event creates the catalyst is anyones guess so better to be in than out!

Great RNS and looks good for the future BUT still nothing that means we are going to mine for 10-15 years at Telfer as a company. We all know we will but the big boys will not invest in a maybe or a possibility they will invest in a concrete MRE and what for SD has done is kept setting the scene for what is to come by end of March. By the we will also have 12 months under our belt and hopefully be well on the way to hitting the full year guidance (missing that would be a disaster!). The key with this is that we could be mining an additional 3-4mt of high grade ore within 12-18 months and not have to wait for haveiron to get to 500k ozs per year! Such good news and will be shocked if market does not respond to this as we are not waiting 2-3 years for the uplift in production with this announcement.

Cracking announcement and in SD blurb did insinuate that MDU was 3m ozs and that WDU is similar structure and without saying it as not proven that likely 3m plus ozs in WDU! So good news this and capacity with the MDU processing facilities. Hopefully markets in Oz like this bit of news

Charlie i tend to listen to what people have to say and you seem informed. However when you start to denigrate another person remarks rather than just correcting then you lose your credability.

Monty i think the reality is that Haveiron will be going not for 13,18 but more like 30+ years when production commences as they have not fully explored the ore body and it is open laterally and at depth is my understanding.

Element where are you getting that Haveiron is being scaled to 6mt pa. Can definitely see the 32mt pa remark and i would suggest that is future proofing but i am not sure how you would get 6mt out of underground per year for processing of Haveiron ore ? Any knowledge or information on this point welcome

All the big fold producers are up again today and in oz were up as well. We know the price is being manipulated by who and why i have no idea but at some stage in the future when validation that Telfer is a 10 year+ mining life which is Q1 next year (i hope) then we will be able to justify a re-rating. Until then we are a quarter by quarter proposition for the instos at the moment and too much of a risk until confirmation by a third party that Telfer has many many years left in the tank. All the drill results in the world will not move the instos until a third party validates those and creates the MRE.

The FS for Haveiron will be great but again is not a producing asset in the short term and i will continue to bang my drum on this that until Telfer is validated as an extra how many years mine life we will not see a re-rating to our peers. When we get the 10 year plus extension which is what i am hoping eg 3m ozs+ reserve for the 300k+ oz per year output we will re-rate significantly on that.

So for those worried by the day to day fluctuations can i suggest coming back in February/March on the MRE release of Telfer.

All my opinion but dont think the Haveiron release of FS will spark the re-rate that many are hoping as production is still a couple years away.

Good luck all with your holdings and it will come good especially with a gold price that has now held up above 4000 an oz for over 7 weeks. This for me is key as well as at some stage the instos globally will re-rate all gold producers to the "new norm" of a gold price that will not drop below 4000. This last point i think is probably 12-18 months away but will come and the likes of Fresnillo etc will be £40-£50 a share as most broker reports are showing 2027 and 2028 gold prices as 20-30% less than current price and that is all pure bottom line profit they are eliminating from there calcs.

Again this is just my opinion and why i hold GGP for at least another 12-18 more months.

Both blind and stupid that they think that a transition period to net zero is not needed - tories no better either on this point. Some common sense and a phased plan would make sense and create a lot of jobs up in north sea with some incentives to invest. Problem is green man milliband will not budge and hate to say it but reform will take votes just on this issue alone come next election. Blind freddie can see that so why cant the labour party see it when they are trying to fill a black hole!!

Do wonder whether Seplat will look at a share buyback program next year with its free cashflow as the current price is madness to its cashflows compared to peers even with a lower oil price.

Biggest mistake this last 12 months in selling down Fresnillo and buying more GGP!! You win some but would have won alot more holding Fres.

Interested to know if there are any broker notes links one can post to have a read of this as IF 145k ozs per year is on the card for late 26 onwards then this is seriously undervalued on current gold prices and ASIC projected costs.

Investeverything - when it comes good which it will as it is making a bucket load of cash, paying off debt quickly and a strong order book then i would not be surprised to see a move to mid 20s inside of a week on news of a dividend and then a few articles by the IC and the like stating to buy. May even then get a bit more insto interest. Must admit i would like to see a 10:1 share price consolidation as well
