Up nearly 100% on no news!!???

IBAB - fair call and i do agree with the fact that the information has been released and it is positive - maybe i just expected a better AISC number and higher reserves as i had presumed that they had done alot of drilling since 2021 and in the past year that would have seen a 2m+ resource and 15 year + mine life. That as you say will most likely happen but with later updates in the 2026 year.

The only way they can double EBITDA by 2030 is increase revenue by either daily rates OR reality of increase number of fee earning vessels. So for me this is great news and shows that they are acting out a well thought out 5 year plan to increase profitability. We will have more of these announcements over the next 2-3 years to get to the double EBITDA position.

ISA - you did not think the AISC was too high for a senegalese gold miner and were you not surprised by a large uplift in reserves?

May be it is monday morningitis but i was not as impressed by the PFS as some on here are. I think we were lucky to have a release at the same time as the big uplift in gold price as i am not sure whether todays price increase is due to the gold price uplift OR the RNS?

Why would i buy more when other miners are matching the price of the metal movement! Just frustrated that they have so much potential but does not seem realised.

True about the lag BUT all other miners are going up with the increasing price in whatever metal they are in. Sylvania is. Not and is nearly the same price as when platinum was $400 an oz less!

You cannot compare amaroq which is seasonally driven miner in Greenland to a producer in q4 of this year with full ramp up in 2027 that is not effected by climatic conditions. Also completely different ore.

I am invested in both but think the blue sky in amaroq is over the top with the current market cap and looking to exit and by contrast am waiting for dupax knowledge to come in to buy more as a two mine operation is going to be worth a lot more in market cap not just because of output solely but de risk of two country jurisdictions

Does AIM drive the price or does the Canadian exchange? Just the disconnect by 20p to closing price is incredible

Query for those holding - is the revenue generated a one off in the first year for 3 years of the tenancy OR is it a fee paid to the company each year?

Punter the lab at La india will be very very useful for the newsflow and reserves upgrades this year and also cash generative as cheaper to do the assay results in house near location than sending them to canada.

The Alpha article on IC has recommended them as a buy today

The one statement in the RNS that also had a de-risk element to it was :

Stage 7 Extension: Extension of the existing Stage 7 cutback towards the north (refer Figure 3), which is expected to provide Telfer's baseload ore feed for FY27 and FY28.

There is the ore for the next 2.5 years while we prove up extensions to MDU, WDU and Stage 2 ores.

Also this statement for WSC and lets hope it is a replica of the main dome as 5mt per year for 11 years is some serious ozs !

The drilling to date confirms continuous WSC mineralisation over 700m of strike, averaging approximately 40m wide (true width) x 150m dip extent (height), and remains open along strike, and up and down dip. These recent results indicate higher grade and increased width to the south of the Phase 1 drilling.

The WSC is considered comparable to the Vertical Stockwork Corridor or 'VSC' domain that was one of the dominant domains targeted by the Sub-Level Cave (SLC) at the Telfer Main Dome Underground from 2008 to 2019 (mining approximately 5Mtpa on average) and is a key extension opportunity currently under assessment.

And catchingpidgeons i think the story has a long way to go. The current market cap and just current cashflow dont really marry up and the growth potential in douta, targets around Seligola, underground Seligola and Cote de Ivoire targets just make it look very very good for the next 1-2 years. If gold can sustain a higher price eg above 4000 an oz even better

Hi element - i would agree that the resource looks substantial - the unknown is what they are able to include up to drilling 31st December and what gets included in the initial MRE for Telfer in Q1. I am hoping a separate announcement for the WDU MRE and then combined with the MDD/stage 2 and stage 7 we will see 2-2.5m oz BUT with additional resources to be added in this 2026 calendar year as drilling completes and further results are added to the initial Telfer MRE in Q1 26.

The size of Stage 2/stage 7 and the grade is for me the interesting one around the MRE as if we were to get 100mt at 0.5g/t 1.6m ozs and up that to 0.6g/t and we are at 1.9m ozs for above ground.

We all need to remember the reality is that WDU will not be mined for at least 18-24 months BUT MDD will continue and if we can get that upgrade above ground on stage 2/7 not only does it secure our 300k ozs+ per year for the next 2 years but also the extension of mine life in telfer for many more years to come and the continuation of the cash cow.

I would say that 350-390k oz is possible for 2026/27 year with 18m tonnes at .6 g/t and 1.2mt from the underground or 300k per qtr which they have done and using 1.8g/t and a 88% recovery rate which is a little high but they did achieve it. The big unknown is the grades in the open pit extension and whether 0.6g/t is a little high side. Either way i see 300k oz as the baseline now with potential upside going into the next FY. Just all my opinion and musings.
