When is the listing presumed?

Announcement today really does confirm that the funding is in place and some milestones are needing to be achieved and presume todays announcement was one of those - suppliers in place from a technical and supply of processing equipment perspective

CuckoldKing i agree with holding stocks that are on a run and hit the milestones that mgmt state and in for the long run. But also one needs to know when to cut losses as well or take profits.

Fortunately gold is holding well so that will facilitate a hold formation for MTL until 2027 or late this year when they confirm La India is in full operational mode. For other gold miners that are increasing production this year and with gold price holding they are just better plays for now. Nothing against MTL but the risk profile has changed since the January RNS and the video release by DB and why the SP is now languishing unless gold has movement upwards OR a big announcement by DB about a second production facility using Runo mill.

Good luck to those that hold as genuinely would like to see MTL become a 200k oz producer as all the pieces of the puzzle are there it is just the timeframe for that to happen.

Totally agree the risk profile for MTL changed for a multitude of reasons with that RNS. DB needs to get his ducks lined up and has to hit timelines with La India with the electricity hookup being outside of his control.

Based also on SP action i think there are many thinking the same thing currently and if it does get to 11-12p range then may look to buy a few more but until then will watch and see if the possible 2nd producer comes to fruition or another statement made to keep shareholders happy until they resolve what to do with an unused plant in 12 months time.

There is no way a brazilian fund would buy an additional 5% and increase stake to 25% without knowledge of the internal mechanisms within the Brazilian government and licensing etc. Very positive statement of intent and good for shareholders.

Lee i dont disgaree with your positivity and the catalysts for re-rating. However i think DB has put off alot of investors with the way he tried to bury the most important piece of information in the RNS which was Dupax is a no goer. There was no explanation as to why but just 1/2 lines on something that was to de-risk the company and give it growth.

On that RNS i sold out a large chunk of shares with exception of small holding of shares to keep an interest in MTL and will wait for certain milestones to be achieved this year before re-entering. The one that i await on is that the electrics are hooked up to the grid and what will happen in the Phillipines with Runo and Abra. Abra is still not confirmed that they will be able to drill and that in itself is another piece of news that has now drifted over 1 year due to locals objecting.

I really do hope that MTL can hit the targets of a FTSE 250 company but the jury is out on events that will make that happen or not over the next 12 months. All just my opinion and i wish all holders the best of luck

Stocks and Rocks i have done exactly the same thing and have transferred some of my cash from MTL into Serabi purely due to MTL now not being a 2026 play for me and other stocks are better value for this year. Still keeping a small holding in MTL just to read the RNS and keep in touch and to watch whether they get LA india to production on time. Although MTL should have good news around drilling in Nic and expanding the reserves around La india and this will help underpin the SP this year.

I think the comments from DB about finding another near production mine are just words for me after the confidence exuded in Dupax being a second mine several months ago and then the RNS only had a brief comment about it - while you had to find out more by watching as youtube video - really....

Thanks Adieuk and have gone through presentations and old RNS and what you have written sums it up well and have bought a few in a couple of accounts of mine. Lets hope the reserve upgrade in early march is positive.

Hi all, how would you rate the management of this company? The numbers look good for a 250m market cap company but is there anything i am missing or anyone can express why they are invested in Serabi?

This play started with whoever several weeks ago when we moved from 10p where we languished for months while the market was hot for metals and then has gone up 230% in the space of a month. Someone is hoovering them up and then every now and again pushing the price down like today and then the price comes back up again

Broom that is the million pound question or where you can allocate money to other stocks that are on a momentum play eg tungsten west, GGP, Seplat at the moment to name three that i am invested in alongside several other colleagues and family.

I should also state that i will buy in again and yes at a higher price when things become more known on the operational direction and that revenue is being generated.

Hi random - would agree with you. the missed deadlines are ok if they are followed up with adequate explanation which has not happened by the mgmt. I personally have sold down a large chunk the last 2 days as have lost faith in the lack of comms via RNS. I dont want it via twitter or any other social media platform i want it as an RNS so all shareholders can make informed decisions.

I still hold a small portion but nothing that will bother me if this gets pushed to the teens again due to poor decisions operationally. Wishing everyone the best though especially those that have large sums invested in this. If it comes off will be good but the risk for me with the lack of comms and the various promises is beyond my threshold now.

Can someone share the video that the company released last week as did not see it as a RNS?

BA - how do you derive 400m EBITDA a year?

Market waking up to a company that is in revenue and bottom line growth stage for next 2-3 years as they bring more onshore and offshore online PLUS no debt i am estimating at year end which is unheard of for a oil and gas company and $1bn+ in ebitda with a market cap of $2.9bn and a 4% dividend that will be increasing each year. Lovely next egg play

Luna i cannot see how a market route across all metal classes and companies is one where SLP is in downtrend. You would say that about every miner globally and that is not the case. It was a correction and we now have some stability in metal prices rather than double digit rises and drops on a daily basis.
