Lee i think one thing that for myself i have forgotten is that La India alone in production doubles/triples the current market cap of MTL with what will be circa 100k oz ++ a year production and increases on reserves for La India and other sites only increasing as more drilling is done and utilisation of the Nicaraguan lab to get more results and alot quicker.

Dupax is a bonus but i would say a big bonus BUT i think with what is going on in the Phillipines i dont think we will get any news soon so what i am hoping is that we get an update stating the issues and a revised timeline with Dupax and hopefully that comes with the quarterly.

Do we think that the WDU resource and the overall Telfer MRE will be two separate RNSs?

Lee it is a compelling argument you write below. What head grade are you thinking they will average at La india for processing to get to 180k oz on 1.8mt - assumes 3.1 g/t which seems very high.

The price action on Friday and volume would seem to suggest someone is taking a stake and has been since the 15-16p days a few weeks back. I have commented on this board that GMS is a perfect takeover target for private equity. Huge order book relative to net debt and great margins with a secure fleet of vessels and a mgmt team in place that could deliver an owner 20%+ a year returns while eliminating debt.

Monday will be interesting to see whether there is an RNS or not as someone is building a position definitely the last few weeks outside of the contract wins

I think you mean 1.8mt capacity rather than 180ozs. Reality is if they can get to 1.8mt and an average grade of 2.5 gm/t then you get your 145koz and any grade higher then more ozs. Most miners when gold is high like it is will target the rich veins of high grade as better cash in the bank than gold in the ground. I would suggest that we could get a very strong 2027 of grades before it settles.

As far as dupax goes I am waiting for the news either way and on this news I will either keep purchasing and at a higher price I am presuming for a successful outcome of a second mine likelihood or hold if dupax is a non goer and wait for la India go live.

Lufu completely agree. He kept the market informed with an RNS on 22nd December and like many of us including his team probably had a christmas break with his family and celebrated new years. Now back at the coal face the next few weeks will determine any more delays or we are on track. Just relax and wait for the next update and i am sure the offtake agreement/s will be tied to him validating the installed kit works and they can flow it at XX rate. The other thing is that the weather now as time progresses only will get better over the next 2-3 months so allows a greater newsflow one would suggest.

Howard what i would suggest is that the analysts may know what we know but CANNOT write about it as it is not officially been released by the company the MRE or any specific values of resource size to the market. So they can only value the company based on RNS information at the moment and what is in public domain. What is the "unknown" is the size of the upgrade for Telfer and the extension of min life years. This we are all assuming is 5 years plus but until that RNS hits the analysts cannot value it even if they may think it. You and I have that benefit of having the gamble.

Give it a couple weeks and there will be some news on the hookup i am sure and people will be back at work weather depending. Sounds like the off take agreements are ready to go ONCE he has proven production and regularised flow rates etc.

Simms that was what i was wondering. Did they have this with RunoRuno but after 1200 people are employed did it all die away. Just not sure and only Darren knows the answer to that
