Badshah - i think the PE of 8 when compared to peers is a little low for the multiplier on NPAT. What i am seeing more though is miners using FCF and a multiplier of 6-7 as the way for valuation.

The kicker here Badshah is assuming that the gold price stays above 3500 an oz is that the gold output goes from the circa 300k oz to 400k+ oz when the underground at Telfer becomes fully functional at the 4.8 mt ore processing capacity like the Newmont and Newcrest had working. Currently at 1.2mt from MDU. This is the key as the grades are 3 or 4+ times better than open pit even with a higher AISC.

If we can get to 400k+ ozs and gold stays at this level then this is where you will get further growth to current SP and then throw in the kicker of Haveiron grades / tonnage from 2029 onwards and 500-600k oz per year operation is very feasable. Have a look at previous years Telfer production and you will see that 500k oz+ years were common for several years. This is why WDU is so so important to deliver alongside and within the MRE.

The gold price is key but our offset to a falling gold price is the increasing of ounces produced over the next 2 years. Personally i cannot see gold dropping below 4000 for some time but a market correction and rush for cash may cause this. Risk vs reward is what it is all about and for me the risks with GGP are to the upside - just my personal opinion.

Elias i would say that they know the current cash reserves and this years cash outturn will cover the capex for Douta as that would be known today by mgtm and board before released on 26th january and there is no way they would have released a bonus dividend if cash for capex and drilling was too tight.

Your point about the 20k oz per qtr is very valid and therefore the trigger for re-rating has to be reserves upgrades and Seligola becoming a longer life mine.

The other prospect licenses that Thor have in nigeria look very promising and could be a year with alot of positive news while alongside making the balance sheet cash wise a lot stronger for the future.

The RNS looks good and surprised lack of interest in the SP but let the results digest over the next few days.

For me $3000+ net margin currently per oz with Seligola drilling now going deeper due to results so therefore open at depth which is great news and the best thing which i mentioned on here a day or so ago was that i want to see them drilling everywhere to update resources. That they are doing and the next 3-6 months we will solidify future production at Seligola and hopefully the commencement date of Douta for a two mine strategy with more knowledge becoming available of whether we have a 3rd/4th or more mines that can be brought to production.

Looking forward to Douta results and the plans and timeline there.

Noticed the historical records of La India had a similar number of silver ounces as gold produced. Is that the plan for the current mine later this year?

When Charles Archer did his numbers for Year 1 beginning of December 25 and net profit after tax of circa $13m this has now risen to over $18m purely on commodity price move upwards. Using a PE of 8 is $144m or £106m vs current market cap of £18.5m - So there is the potential for a multi bagger here if they can get to production and produce the outputs as suggested and they only improve into each year as copper grades go up.

The original study was done with copper at 9300 and gold at 2800 / silver 31 so the profit levels for this if they can get this to production in 2026 we will be a multiple of the current market cap as silver is 84, gold 4600 and copper 13000. Huge uplift pure to bottom line

Hi Kat - what would you prefer - extension of more drilling rigs to sure up additional resources which in turn increases SP and even bring forward some mine plans if they are commercial OR pay more out now when metal prices are strong to shareholders.

Personally - "drill baby drill" and sure up every possible deposit they have with potential satellite mines with small tonnage machinery which can be bought on open market from Oz and Canada mainly eg MTL bought a 1.8mt processing equipment for 165m for La India in Nicaragua from Canada.

Sellmethispen i agree with you and been happening for several weeks as Platinum price flies but this stock is not.

Prices are flying and still seems very little interest in Sylvania.

Thank you for the broker note and that upgrade at over 100% of the current SP is interesting. I do wonder whether 2026 will see us get above the £4 mark.

I would suggest any dividend increase would have to be reviewed in light of Capex requirements for Douta and also the extended drilling program across the 3 countries which i would prefer to see the money used there than paying an increased dividend for now.

Sharesleuth that would be incredible to get a 3m oz mine as we would be looking at 20 year mine life and then some.

For me what i am interested in is Seligola and the extension to that and how many more years. It reminds me of GGP Telfer mine which will release its updated MRE in the next 2-3 months and that is what is driving SP as that mine is the only one producing the cash at the moment. A bit like Thor with only one mine producing. I would be interested to see how many more years Seligola has in it and those numbers which i think are released this Q1 will help solidify the current SP and then some.

How is this good news. The Instagram effectively stated they are going to make Nicaragua a democratic country which means getting rid of the current regime that has supported the miners including MTL!!??
