Update RNS May 9th 2024!

“The services expected from the successful bidder include the management of all mining and processing activities at Nayéga and a total logistics solution from mine to port. The tender process closes on 7 June 2024 and requires the successful applicant to be fully mobilised within 6 months of the tender award.”

Unlikely to be starting our deal before the tender process has been completed!

If I remember correctly, the three years only start on actual production!

Quick calculation!

Year one, planned monthly tonnage 7480 so yearly 89760

( $3.5 dmtu, 38%)(7.5% our fees)

Give us £690k!

Year two same criteria!

Monthly 25k yearly 300k

Gives us £2.3m

Year three same criteria!

Monthly 48k yearly 576k

Gives us £4.4m

Therefore total tonnes over the three year period will be around the 965k! Grand totals £7.4m!

It’s only my thoughts for a guide and used a conservative price for the ore,as cannot comment on the potential for the DMTU to fluctuate!

Whilst it’s an update, original story was by year five we should be hitting 48k tonnes @ $93/tonne cost!

From here, it’s not looking like we’ll be reaching anywhere near those milestones for sometime yet!

As it turned out Dave had recently agreed terms for the loan extension from the bank, only to be told on the Sunday morning ,they were pulling the plug!!

Your right to question this, as of today, shareholders have had no direct instruction to the current status of our shares!

But you can be assured, that if a Billionaire forks out enough money to pay off all outstanding debts, that the business will be run in their best interest!

And that does not include any likely recompense for any of the previous investors!

However, we continue to await further details!

Company goes into voluntary administration, due to a lack of funds to pay a contractor !

Bank who recently agreed an extension, decides not to honour those terms!

During the process someone with plenty of money seizes the opportunity to snap up the business, clears out the old and starts afresh; with a fully functioning operation in place!

Leaving the original shareholders well and truly in the lurch! ( or similar metaphor’s can be applied)!

Not sure I’d want news to land, just before a planned budget, likely to put a strain on the markets!

Whilst we are working in two countries away from this episode, the general fallout will hit any trading share hard; especially if it turns out as bad as they are predicting!

If they are true to their word ( I have no reason to think otherwise!) then we should expect the roadshow to commence any time soon!

At this stage, there will be opportunities to meet the board and discuss our future direction at length; along with explanations to some of our underlying issues still to be resolved, as we move hopefully forward with the current projects!

Whilst Dave was the frontman for practically all the time, there was a full collection of senior figures within the team.

They also had to rely on various knowledgeable outsiders, who basically got the theory wrong!

I’m keeping plenty crossed that something positive can be salvaged for shareholders,from the ongoing operation!

Having been to many AGM’s and talking with the board after proceedings; I do feel more comfortable that we are looking to generate the required news,albeit long time coming!

Let’s see how the land lies in the next few weeks as to progress on all fronts!

Added a few this afternoon, surely the update on our current and future prospects must be due in the coming weeks!

Hopefully, it will give us a clearer picture of where we are going, may even get a nod to other opportunities within the core of our business!

Would be shocked to finally hear a positive result on Togo!

From the conversations at the AGM we are planning to run out the road show’s in the autumn,outlining progress so far.

Hopefully our broker’s will provide a realistic forecast; which should trigger not only an uplift, but at last, some shareholder relief, whilst still showing the real potential for this project is still possible!

“agreement has been reached whereby Keras has purchased the outstanding 49% equity interest in Falcon Isle for a total consideration of US$3.2m including loans repaid to the vendor of Falcon Isle of US$1,816,527. To preserve cashflow for developing the project, this will be paid in four annual instalments of US$800,000 commencing on 1 July 2022 with the final payment on 1 July 2025.”

Couldn’t find any other counter reference, to this being the last payment due date!

Don’t think the banks/creditors would have done what they have, as they say “there’s no smoke without fire” and they must surely have been privy to undisclosed information, to make such a decision of this magnitude !
