Just found this interesting interview with Joe Lowry discussing the Lithium space and the impact on mining in the future!.

Demand for EV’s ( if you can get one cheap enough!) will outpace the supply of suitable materials!

Lots to get into, but one point he made about the timescales for mining, had me thinking out aloud, basing a greenfield Lithium project, taking up to ten years to be producing?

To be fair, not read the entire document, just skimmed through!

But this hits the spot, if we were to get movement within Togo!

If the last meeting I attended is anything to go by, this could be done and dusted in 15 minutes!

It only extended due to us two shareholders having a series of questions for the members present!

I’m sure they will still want to delay the presentation, as it will be seen by the board that new investors are shown the future alongside existing long suffering shareholders!

Let’s hope it has at least some positive outlooks, as of late we are treading far too much water!

So at this time, it’s safe to say, it’s a forgone conclusion that the consolidation question will be passed!
What’s not so clear is what comes next!

Now……. some shareholders will without thinking, trade the new share price ( wow my shares have gone up 100 x !) which may spark a reaction!

But if the presentation was set up to give the shares a good kick up the pants with positive news, then by the letter of the law, this should already have been communicated via the RNS( good or bad)!

So we can now assume the delayed presentation will be about what might happen to the business and our relationships with our strategic investors!

I’m remaining upbeat on this, even with so many issues unresolved, now just await the presentation from the company to reassure my ongoing investment is secure ( as any share can be!)

Wouldn’t think the people handling our “strategic investors” business accounts are too pleased, that they paid double, only a few weeks ago!

Still hopefully, by the end of the month we will have answers to a number of very important questions on our future prospects!

If the board were to ask for questions from shareholders in advance of the presentation meeting, these would be my five!

What do our strategic investors “really” have in mind?

How are the overall production and sales going?

Where do the board think we are moving with the Togo situation?

How are we going to attract new investors?

When will we consolidate our massive share holdings?

I’m sure there will be many more good ideas floating around, but hope we at least get ……. some good news from the presentation!

Does seem we cannot get the support here,to move it along, even now we are financially settled and awaiting results!

Our new investors could well be running over the books to see where or if they need to influence the project!
Still holding, but feeling we are at least turning the corner…….. hopefully nothing unexpected awaiting us!

It was obvious that Russell was completely flabbergasted at the goings on, whilst he couldn’t confirm anything, there are still movements, he also mentioned we have expanded our “local water project” to assist further the farming community!( details of which Togo did not want to be confirmed!)

With the expression for Togo to join the commonwealth, could see a reflection.
But……. I’m in no position to comment on the boards total thinking on this subject!

Best left till the AGM to hopefully, discuss more fully!

It had as we are aware been announced before as a possibility and today it was raised again and is being considered!

Russell also confirmed that First Uranium Resources did in fact want a bigger slice of our business which we were reluctant to give and have purchased more, with a TR1 notification likely to come out!

I did ask if the comms will improve ( couldn’t get any worse!) and Russell admits it’s been a difficult period and now it’s settled we “will” see an improvement and not from either of our brokers !
And on the fact of us having two brokers, it was a question of “ nomads” and capital!
Each had their benefits and do work well together in the interests of the company!

Whilst it’s disappointing that I was one of two investors at said meeting, can understand why!

Business was over in a very short while, even the coffee was still hot!
The main thrust of questions then concentrated on DC and given our new position, there appears to be many avenues we can go down !
Russell explained and showed samples of the varying forms the mining takes, from rock chips to powder!
Each having their respective traits and the likely lead times to get responses from the various end users!
However, as we have been at it for some months now Russell explained that a few customers had asked for their requirements be held in storage and upfront payments made to ensure continued supply!
Just need more of them!
We also touched on “carbon credits” it is something we are looking at not from investments but being able to offer our certificates to farmers who then can use credits as a subsidy to farming!
On the “elephant in the room” it’s still on going and whilst nothing concrete came out, the board are hoping for their possible entry into the commonwealth would see a need to show how well they handle a U.K. company, being considered before admission!

There is likely to be an AGM in July , where an update on the various issues will be covered!

But for me it was a positive meeting, certainly worth attending even if it was sparse!

Re reading the 26th April RNS concerning the management changes, anyone have any idea what, day to day activities, a non - executive chairman has to do ?
As from 1st September Russell takes on this role, at a time, in my opinion, the Pirra Lithium project may be coming to light!.

I think you’ll find it’s the total market sell off having the negative effect!

The global market is waking up to so many issues that even safe havens such as Gold are being priced down!
The good news, if you can call it that, Gold will move higher as inflation bites!
Just sit tight both down there and here!
