Yes of course they will need to start on sit clearance and foundation during Feb-March to avoid expiry of the planning permission, but I was meaning the start of the main construction of the buildings. I don't know anything about the special steel, but I believe that the TCC has been ordered but can't remember the name of the company that's manufacturing it.

Hi MJA, That's pretty much along they lines I was thinking as well. I believe that Enviroo are looking to take Plots 10A, 11 and 12 as well as Plot 13 with obtained planning permission in April 2021, and I'm sure I saw an indication somewhere that they had got agreement with Peel on those sites. As Plot 13 (Enviroo) and Plot 10B (Peel/PHE) are at a similar stage i.e. having obtained planning consent, and given the operational connection between the two, I expect that the two sites could be developed at the same time, and hopefully that will be sometime this year. Start of construction about mid-year perhaps?

In Enviroo's web site, in April 2021 when they received planning permission for their plant at Protos, they stated that they planned to be operational by summer 2022. Clearly that didn't happen, but does anyone know what their current timeline looks like? This matters because I believe they will be providing the feedstock of end-of-life plkastic to the DMG, and it would make sense if the construction of the two facilities was co-ordinated.

I am quite sure that the SP will move significantly when we get confirmation that financial close has been achieved and construction has started. And the SP will move even higher when they start producing electricity.

Bear in mind that once the DMG technology gets accepted and other DMG facilities are built, they will not all be producing hydrogen. Some will just produce electricity, depending upon what is required in each local area. There will be lots of profit to be made by just producing electricity.

I don't think they need thee hydrogen off-take to be ready before they build the DMG facility because they can start by generating electricity into the local grid and then add the hydrogen facility at a later date when the hydrogen refuelling station has been built.

That was a new Chairman, and he has been appointed. A new CEO will come at some point in the future which will allow Keith Riley to step aside, but I don't think there is any rush for that.

My belief is that we'll have the first commercial DMG facility operational at Protos later this year.

For those who keep suggesting that HUI is going it alone and abandoning PHE, check out this comment:

For ships that are already powered by diesel-electric it might be a matter of replacing the diesel generators with hydrogen/FC generators. Then presumably they would need ammonia fuel tanks and ammonia crackers. Not exactly simple modifications, but possible.

Thank for that very interesting info mja. That makes a lot of sense, all of the recycling facilities close together, with PHE's DMG in the middle! So the DMG will be able to get its feedstocks from all sides. I just hope that they can get the deal with Peel done quickly, then all of the construction work can be done at the same time, maybe in Q2!

Let's take it step at a time! The focus right now must be on the FOAK at Protos, assuming that that's where the FOAK will be. And it seems fairly certain that it is M Dryers who will be producing the TCC.

We haven't got a new CEO yet Castle. Expect an announcement sometime in the New Year, perhaps not until Feb or March.

So it's out there. It's definitely Mitchel Dryers who will be manufacturing the chamber.
