I do not have my emails to hand ( sat on a sandy beech currently) but I recall the terms are the bond holders can convert on application but Hur can only force a convert at due date- I am 95% certain on that point not 100% so worth checking ( I will when back in office week after next)

We did not miss either Portland ( far to small to be worth a major going after) or the Kimmeridge ( too tight to be productive) - both were a pain as we drilled to lower levels! So you increase the pump size...the resource is finite and detailed in the cpr. So bigger pump equals shorter life..is that good? Is on an npv10 basis but not operationally.. but you clearly understand oily tech matters very well (not)

There is no information in yesterday’s rns that provides any comparison to likely outcome compared to cpr case. Fact.

Are you sure higher production rate compared to cpr rate? Decline rate would increase and planning got larger number of trucks for a shorter period of time would be more difficult......and that is before you consider resi impacts..

Why do so many posters on this bb post about technical matters about which they know SFA?

I see the Portland has flowed again - as predicted by the CPR. But still no well kickoff flow rates. CPR assumed. 300 or was it 350 sustainable year one flow. to me the only news is the shut in period has not overly impacted the Portland.. so not much news ( unless you subscribe to the view Ukog can cockup all Wells...hold on this is effectively an Angus well ...)

Interesting currently. Appears the pump is going for it but no tankers. Could be tankers have been missed or could be water cut? I am not sure what the water disposal route is however - should we have seen lots of waste tankers to remove water? The pump is positive displacement - each stroke will move the same volume of fluid.

A better post with clarity and fact then most I have read on this bb for some time.

i find the news flow positive. the co has guided on time scale and events we can expect through to mid 2019.

we do not get RNS's every 5 mins that tell us the ceo has gone to the lav this morning / is still in talks / matters move forward. if anything the RNS flow appears to me to be reduced now things appear to be moving forward.

that to me is good. II's do not like RNS's for RNS sake and i would suggest generally as that forces a decision (good or bad RNS which has to be put to risk committees etc). also tells me pmo and rkh are singing from the same hymn sheet. good.

i am sure you will enjoy your trip to Rotterdam with your camera and meet up with some fellow posters. nothing wrong with that. i enjoyed the pics from Dubai.

unfortunately i can not justify joining you (as MrJV implied). much as i think a chat over a beer or two would settle some long running matters once and for all why would i spend money to do so (and look at a fpso i have seen photos of and 100% believe is real and pucker). it is nothing to do with the level of investment i currently have / have had / will have in the future. it is all to do with would i rather go to Netherlands in autumn / winter or somewhere more interesting? of course you can get my direct contact details from AD (consent granted AD!) if you wish and give me a bell and the same outcome could be achieved in a simple call!

i find it strange some peeps posting here think an RNS that progress is as guided will move the sp (other than on a small temp basis)..it is not a micro cap wish and hope stock. would you agree?

i agree..i had 2 in my trading pot up which i sold and rest of trading pot and lth down or flat.

july / aug never the best time to increase pf value and i am pleased with those two. as we have seen in the recent past rkh can and will move on little or no news..i enjoyed the posts about £10K per penny..i am not in that far...but a penny puts a smile on my face (not that i react to less than 15% movement on base targets..)

I find the comments made to be most interesting. It seams to me that you find the Ukog bb a joke - full of positive carp with all negativity resulting in insults and denigrating comments. Then I read you see wellwell’s comments as negative and having no place on this bb. Now I think the above is a fair summary and if so does that not make you totally hippacritical? I bet there are peeps reading this bb ( don’t forget for every poster are 20 to 20 readers) who bought in at 55p after the daily mail hype who wished they had understood the potential downsides as well as upsides better.

Anyway, rest assured I will ensure a degree of balance is maintained on this bb ( and I suspect others will to ) regardless of you wish to only read positive posts.

I posted when the rns came out detailing the £2m that I was of the view the co was offered the cash to cover a short. Far too many on here disagreed as they love to always put a positive view rather than a realistic one.

my post is clear the NPV10 is the value of the EPS oil..which is far below the Mcap (inc conv bonds). the rest of the mcap (inc conv bonds) must be the value put on the 2C (plus of course any discount for EPS risk). so far from ignoring it i have illustrated (to the extent possible in the absence of knowing the market discount factor for the EPS) the value the market is putting on the rest of hur's oil!
