Whose paying for these shares?6 Dec 2019 13:39
Hi. thought I was going mad for a while but realised the RNS from 8th Nov referred to in today's RNS is not on LSE, but found it on the i3e website. So 5 million is being raised and this turns out to be at a premium so this should raise the price of other shares as it's capital going in at a premium. I had been confused because I was reading about the issue of equity for board members etc. in 2 million shares which is on LSE on 8th Nov. It possibly appears those aren't being exercised, but they were contingent upon some conditions such as funding in place etc. which maybe aren't there yet I don't think the funding is there yet. So who is paying for the new 14 million shares do we know exactly if they happen as expected? The other thing I was missing was the shares that Bybrook can also take in payment at 40p a share which I thought I had seen but now have found in said missing RNS. That's the other thing that most of the way along this, has made me feel shares will go north of 40p and probably at least to 50p so they can make a 25% profit on them. Even that would be a bit close for comfort though maybe so I was more thinking they would get to 60p again, or so everyone in the know was thinking when these schemes were set up??? But we have had further results so maybe they just lost a punt, but the results are all quite sketchy and need confirming next year, etc. This is partly why I am staying in. Not an oil and gas guru just trying to read the behaviour and between the lines. Though I do know 600 million barrels stooip is quite a lot of oil and my presumption was the city do too. Am I barking or just barking up wrong trees? Or calling it right. Time will tell I guess.
