why was tain only 5 - lower quality?

Ok so 600million barrels are the estimates. At 70 dollars a barrel that is 42 billion or 32.5 billion pounds.

Talk me through in a few sentences the recovery rates and costs that get this down to £13million please. Or just my bad maths.

An elaborate pump and warrant is a possibility, it's always been possible to anyone who goes in eyes wide open. But you look at the calibre of people and the recent appointments and the RNS's and there is plenty to refute that too and it hasn't seemed the most likely. There was a lot of FOMO money came in last week on expectation of an interview and something happened for it to be pulled. Crudetrader didn't add a lot because we already knew the company were forced to put that Monday RNS out he didn't need to speculate too much. But the Tuesday one was a good counter and another solid piece of news that looks like a deal or a JV is likely with multiparty interest and nothing agreed. The WK stuff has been important because it shows the company has the competence to go alone and presumably could redirect resource. Maybe the gov wants them to redirect that resource to the hotter mine/metal - MT. Not too sure how that Russian approval system works. Either way it does seem some sustained deramping and some cross ramping to try and get the trading money locked in EUA flowing to other mining stocks e.g. ROCK or MNRG. Playing on impatience and fear. The signs are that this will return to 4p whenever news looks imminent or a big pregnant pause, but the fact is the share has taken a real hit on the general trust level which has made it feel more risky. Something that could look or be orchestrated. Maybe some of those saying de-risk had a fair shout if they weren't so ever present all weekend and actually flipped position with the SP at times but I think that was mainly if you were in from .4p and had 10 bagged. If you haven't then it's up to you whether you are trying to make day profits or want to wait for the potential year-making amount. Problem with no news then a small step towards a deal it gives people the comfort to think they can do both when to everyone the chart was showing a solid rise towards 5p. Turns out we didn't have as many sticky hands as we hoped but the pulled interview was an absolute mare.

Im a bit shocked/suspicious that shelty thought this share was ramped on the weekend. It was the deramping after the pulled interview that led to the over reaction to mondays rns which was one the company have said they were forced to put out and didnt have full control on the contents.

OK. I am still in but got in at 50p and am willing to write all off. But I think 20p is near the bottom. Biggest regret is not being able to buy in at this point instead. I aren't generally as technical as the more experienced guys I weigh it all in and think there will be an upside here, as even BBN seems to think. Don't have the knowledge for the totally technical approach but I think the zen approach can be as effective when there is a big admission human factors are also at play. I am on a learning curve and intend to see it out. I like the idea of UK offshore oil too so that helps stay in. I would concur some funny biz goes on with this share that is exasperating but once you are in I think it's worth sticking with the decision.

Quite a difference between "this will be sold next week" and "code 1" or "booom" which are quite often tongue in cheek or a bit of enthusiasm bubbling over when there is an obvious surge in bus or news expected. The mentality that a sale will never be imminent I find more annoying on repeat. All genuine commentors are likely bulls not bears at the end of the day.

thanks pokerchips. I thought it was an acquisition tr-1 but you are right it's a long holding by them due to a merger or something needed a tr-1.

when the mms dropped it on Monday and there was radio silence on here apart from derampers telling I told you so must admit I panic sold a little but have bought all back now so may even be up or nil effect soon. The derampers on the weekend had made me a little jittery by Monday thinking, I've got such a large percent of the portfolio here what if it did fall etc. so bit of a perfect storm. With the interview. I am happy with the explanation but doubt I would fall for it again. Wish I'd been out for a walk on Monday tbh.

From 1.1p I've topped up at 3.5p and 3.9p and after Monday's scare happy to top up at 2.95p today. The NOMAD or someone found the old RNS about the banks ambiguous so they were forced to put out an RNS saying nothing was in writing on monday. Which played right into the hands of MMs and payday derampers without shifts on the weekend. As did the lapsed sharetalk interview which was rumoured/tweeted but never heavily advertised. Tuesday was a great RNS which given none of the rest would probably have taken this share from 2.8p up to 3.5p+ but we are where we are and sp is not that relevant now to anybody who is not day trading.

You would have thought with second massive new prestigious contract and yesterdays tr-1 confirming stake taken by big asset manager. That's most of the stuff you would want for a sustained uprate for a company with no cash troubles.

I know in my mind 1.2p seems the re-entry point for this share but it really needs some news. It's on lots of people's radar and I nearly went for it with my free pot but I've gone blackbird. The good thing about trx is you think it's worth 2p on the bs and next year there should be good news, but it's whether you want to commit to that when other good opportunities are around in mining or tech.

This isn't a busy board this is it. Not like one of them engineering or mining boards where people have been there 10+ years. I've noted this company presented with Google at a recent trade event at Google's behest. So you'd be thinking these guys are good, and you'd be thinking there are obvious endgames involving very wealthy buyers. And you'd be looking at the bs thinking a profit is not too far off so gr8 - some tech you don't have to give away for free and actually monetises easily. Good level of depth to this story for me, though I have been a bit wary of tech stocks based on just 1 deal this now has a fair bit of momentum.

in October there was the state dept deal which was mentioned as adding 6 figures to the revenue already from last bs. And that was open tender public contract so that says a fair bit.

not to mention massive 5 year deal with Bloomberg and saw the trades starting to build at good volume

So I had £1200 doing nothing and here I saw nice rise, 5million in cash and 20% taken by a big asset manager on the tr-1 yesterday. Spread was too big earlier but now its ok so made the plunge.

Thanks for that bobby, need more like you with proper insights. It's dawning on me that some of these gegen-derampers on here are "payday derampers" that have probably worked out this is a good bet but want to get more shares every Friday. Not necessarily paid by MMs who have their own games to sweep up shares with the very curious response to Mondays neutral RNS but we now know thanks to Freddie that was a regulatory requirement as first one was unclear - I said yesterday it felt like a response to some unknown person but now we know it was forced. No way is there a 50% chance of this share going to zero. Maybe on your late to the party investment if we go it alone it will take a while and you will have 0% return for a while but you will still have your book value or not far off. The flanks should get approved IMHO so that is not that likely either. DYOR

Sounds like ramping nonsense to me essex as my post had a lot more specifics than yours referencing both events and the balance sheet and you talked about casinos! People who impart knowledge about warrants and so on doing much more for the share with fact based advice. If you were researched you should be capable of similar.
