Palo Alto market cap - 57 Billion
Crowdstrike market cap - 28 Billion - Huge continuous losses
Sentinelone market cap - 4.5 Billion - Huge losses

Darktrace market cap - 1.8 Billion - Zero debt, big cash pile in the bank, great ARR revenue growth, leaders in AI cyber products.....wake up market. If we want to keep this as a UK company for the forseeable future we need a huge uplift.....potential US acquirers are gathering like vultures!!

The financials we know at a high level re ARR expectations - 30%ish growth which is excellent in the current market. The big investors are jumping on any share with positive results at the moment, i.e I cannot believe the upturn in Aston Martin this morning given results were not great.

We will get the forecast for the year and I can only assume will be very positive given the response in the market to the Prevent/OT release. The Heal test results should be stellar and an update on release date. Cyber attacks are increasing exponentially and they need DT products to save the day!!

There will be an update on patents/products in the pipeline which again I assume will be stellar. They are the leaders in AI cyber functionality.

Expect a high level update on EY DD....i.e no bodies found and date of final publication.

A non executive director change would also be welcome by the market.

I have an SP in mind that it will smash through next week.....DYOR.

For me the metrics you benchmark in this space is the release of new functionality i.e RNS last week, release of new products i.e Heal and Prevent/OT and patents etc, research the number of patents DT have in the pipeline. From my perspective Darktrace is the leader in the AI space re cyber security.

I do NOT want a company spending millions in this space with no tangible value.

Look at Crowdstrike and Sentinel....they continue to make huge losses where as DT have zero debt and a massive pile of cash in the bank. DYOR.

Increasing investor confidence could lead to more M&A activity - Good article in FT in terms of what I keep banging on about....

The majority of FTSE 250 bosses believe that UK-listed companies are vulnerable to foreign takeovers this year amid growing expectations that M&A activity will pick up as economic conditions improve.

British broker Numis found that “compressed” valuations meant that corporates were increasingly focused on their own vulnerability in the eventuality of a bid, according to an annual survey of M&A intentions of companies in the UK’s “mid-market” of FTSE 250 stocks.

Last week it emerged that two UK-listed companies — events business Hyve and energy services company Wood Group — were the takeover targets of US private funds.

More than nine in 10 FTSE 250 company directors expect to undertake some form of M&A this year, with a similar number expecting financing conditions to improve this year.

Numis surveyed 80 board directors at FTSE 250 companies and 200 institutional investors in January.

Ord warned that the UK stock market looked good value in certain sectors for more highly rated overseas buyers given the pound was still fairly weak against other currencies.

RR had surprisingly good results.....hopefully we get the same here on March 8th!

I hope the EY final report is published latest end of March...that is the game changer that will lock the door and the key thrown away regarding any fragility in this share and invite the more conservative investors to jump in.

The trend of the SP over the last couple of weeks has been good. The exception was yesterday when it misbehaved due to selling, but that is the nature of this share.

If you focus on the milestones and fundamentals as I keep banging on about, the SP will move significantly over the course of the year.

Agree, it was trending at the start of the day as it should based on the info....you can only assume there was a big fish seller and others followed.

But the RNS facts are the facts....in my view very good opportunity to buy.

Has an unknown buyer acquired £100M DT shares via ML? Yes
Was a TR1 issued as a result? No
Does that mean a new party has acquired the shares? Yes
Is it public knowledge who has acquired the shares? No
As a result there are rumours as always who has acquired, which I have rightly not disclosed.

Bristinho......you have already displayed clearly that you are a MUPPET. Like you, my instinct is telling me that you are delusional and have alternative motives.

But I assume multi million dollar also equates to multi million pounds :)

Investors buy and investors sell.....somebody is selling. Somebody started selling at the initial increase point this morning.

I only make decisions based on the fundamentals and not SP movement on a given day.

My short term focus of key milestones are:-

Annual results - Good positive results i believe
EY report - clean bill of health
Later in the year - I believe takeover attempt

Not sure what you are smoking today......but the forecast is that Darktrace is now expecting year-over-year revenue growth of between 29.5% and 31.0% (previously 30% to 33%). Marginally off.

Since that they have announced their largest multi million pound contract to date, new product releases etc etc.

Also there will be more material positive updates as part of the annual results, that is the nature of annual results.
