Imagine most are just taking a gamble now having lost so much. It’s like, double or quits - lose dispute and company is all but wiped out and we lose the lot (what’s left) or win and we go up 25% which gives us a decision to make between cutting losses there or riding it out for this pie in the sky £100M per annum

On the money, swag. Effectively, the dhsc dispute controls the price, other than that the board likely have little control.

We’re still seen as a covid play as we have no obvious material revenue streams.

Who the hell has got the money in the current climate to splash out on covid tests for a mild illness? And if they did, they’d just buy from China at 1/10 the cost.

And there are a lot more virologists who aren’t concerned. Are you so unconvinced by our non covid plan that you’re hanging onto this by your fingernails? I’d love a £50m covid contract as much as the next man (as long as we get some proper lawyers to check it over to ensure it is paid) but it ain’t happening.

Because we were temporarily up 10%, for no good reason, someone was banding around £2 which would have been another 25%. They based this on nothing, they were ramping.

No, I was delighted. We temporarily went up 20% off that news so gave me hope. However I balanced this joy with the fact that our claim is much, much bigger so the likelihood is the government will not roll over as easily. We duly tanked the next day as others thought the same and/or traders took their quick profit.

I never said covid would disappear from earth, but our income from it will diminish. That is exactly what has happened at a faster rate than the board said.

No joy when it goes down like today. Yesterday I commented after someone mentioned £2 at 9.30 after a morning hike. And what happened? We ended circa 2% up.

What is your £2 prediction based on, kenny? That’s some 25% beyond the current price. You expecting a swift resolution to the dispute or did you just get carried away with this mornings pump?

100%. Was ramped yesterday due to abdx’s news but was always going to go down. At least gives us some hope that if we reach some sort of settlement with dhsc we should get a decent spike. May only be a day or two but will give some the chance to get out.

Short memory? I was literally positive yesterday. 20% rise was hard not to be, but I’m also not utterly stupid so knew we’d be in for a hiding today, fortunately not to the same extent. Hopefully levels out for the rest of the week if the traders move to a new targets.
