"equally unhappy"? They have just awarded themselves pay rises worth tens of thousands per annum (for failure, I hasten to add) whilst will likely be making normal people redundant amidst a cost of living crisis (anecdotal, obviously, but rationalising the cost base tends to mean job losses for the bulk of it). We, as shareholders, should be absolutely incandescent with rage at this. It is like MP's raising taxes on ordinary fold but then awarding themselves a £15-20K pay rise - the country *should* (but probably wouldn't because the media would distract) be up in arms.
It's one thing failing and running the company into the ground, it is very much another to reward themselves with massive pay rises on top of what is already an absolutely massive salary.
This is only one element but, for me, it is the most important and is absolutely disgraceful.
