Digby I’m not personally accusing anyone, merely speculating that the market must know something, somehow. Ignore the awful management for now, how can a marcap be 30% (30m) below cash when the company has no doubt. Ok it’s loss making but not tens of millions. Would this still be the case if there was no dispute? Surely they’re not pricing in a £30m hit ‘just in case’?

I ask those who are more experienced and knowledgeable about investing, how can this 30% delta be justified?

Feels like it. Seems like any day news could drop that results in a 20/30/40m hit to cash and most of that is now priced in.

How could an EGM be forced? This is becoming utterly ridiculous. Is it even a possibility that we could do it given that most shareholders are in France?

I’ve certainly said it for a while but surely more of us are realising that they are strangling and killing the company, and with that, our money.

Toptramp. It wouldn't surprise me. Their income is untouchable regardless of the outcome. A large part of me thinks it's inevitable that we'll lose as it'll just be the next logical slap in the face for shareholders and a classic AIM story. But I just can't bring myself to sell at what is now a 75% loss.

It should change, but will it? If the current crop stick around for another few years they could stagnate it so much that any growth prospects simply disappear. Let's not let them off the hook, we are loss making again so only 2020 was profitable. We now effectively have no covid sales (yes ok there will be dribs and drabs but the reduction has been so much greater than they said I wouldn't be surprised if its up to 90% in H2) and are selling less non covid than before covid. Let that sink in - less non covid revenue before those supposedly transformative years. DA has been in almost a year and has done what? Absolutely nothing positive. Is 10 months not enough time to make a change? He gave himself 100 days grace - fine. What now? How do we know that their private boardroom chats don't revolve around "how do we get as much of that £99m for ourselves as humanly possible?"

The whole thing stinks. Shareholders here are like the public to the government - treated like utter vermin.

I imagine it is rife within AIM but I personally only see it here as no 'investments' elsewhere in this cesspit of a market. Shame the learning curve had to be so steep and expensive, but what can you do. Imagine the morale amongst the employees seeing those pay hikes whilst some of the colleagues are getting the boot.

Massive salaries and bonuses are one thing but it is the payrise that stings everyone. To have the gall to award themselves that much of a hike given what they have done to the SP and marcap, in a serious cost of living crisis, illustrates that they are simply in it for their own bank balances. The correct etiquette would have been to say "no, this isn't the right time for this".

And they cannot be held to account.

DRB and BYP - jesus wept, eye watering figures for doing absolutely nothing. Board members contributing to the destruction of the company being paid £32-37K per month. PER MONTH. More than many people (who actually work and add value to their employer) get paid in a year. And that's just basic salary before bonuses.

They’ve had the cash for 18 months and all they’ve done is bloat the cost base, award themselves £20-30k/annum pay rises and watched it get eroded by inflation. Literally doing nothing with it in times of 13% inflation.

If they win the dispute. To ‘win’ the dispute will take years and years. Not happening. At best, a settlement out of court which still likely reduces the cash balance.

Appears to be no end to the slide, when did we last have a blue day? And this is on no news! No one is buying at these prices, it’s not investable company. If so many of us weren’t so under water it wouldn’t even be a discussion point as this is effectively a dormant company. Makes you laugh thinking about the £100m/annum statement. **** me, you couldn’t even do £100m in the 2nd year of covid when there were unprecedented amounts of money being thrown at cheap bits of plastic.

It’s like an unlikely championship team getting promoted to the premier league, bringing in a few new faces that aren’t going to change much, and not spending any of the £150-200m windfall they get for promotion. And then literally losing every single game 5-0 in the premier league. Like, every game. There would be absolute uproar and sackings.

The board will argue that we’ve ten bagged since pre covid and, whilst that is true, you can’t help but think they’ve managed the whole thing dreadfully since the windfall. Did anyone expect £12 to be sustainable? No, it was clearly a one off, once in a lifetime event, but to just **** it away so quickly and miserably takes some really incompetent people.

The board, all of them, especially the fat controller, needs to go.
