A bombshell RNS about what? Another pandemic?

Was listening to VOX markets podcast yesterday and they were running through hot stocks of the moment etc., and whilst they didn't reference NCYT they said about flash in the pan covid plays and how they were the rage in 2020 and 2021 and then died after the vaccine. Add to that the dispute and ncyt is what we have.

Sadly for us, it's over.

I think we all need to accept that this company spiked due to covid. It’s a covid test company. There was a purple patch where people made a lot of money. That is well and truly over and we’re now the same company we were pre pandemic.

Hard to accept but that’s the reality.

Yeah, it’ll dwindle quicker than people think. Circa £13m loss last year on £21m revenue. Take out covid revenue this year and that could be up to £25m loss, depending on the scale of cost cuts. Don’t need many of those years to kill the cash balance, with or without the dispute.

May not fix things but had to be done, surprised it took so long. I doubt the next person will do worse. I mean, DA nothing other than trash the value of the company so it’d be a tough act to follow. I’d be surprised if they get anyone before the dispute is done. Ok they get a big salary for a year but know they could be out of a job in a year and can literally do nothing in that time. It’s a great interim role for someone; come in for a year, do some **** presentations and get £300-500k, then get a proper job elsewhere.

They didn’t just shrink the business they managed to destroy shareholder value and any confidence in the company. Not a single thing deserved a pay rise yet they got it.

Kilkenny Ted - are you happy with their performance? They have completely destroyed the value of the company.

BH - ncyt have proven that all that stuff doesn’t matter. Who in their right minds thought DA should be ratified and those clowns deserved a big pay rise? Well apparently an awful lot of shareholders did, yet those majority shareholders have done nothing to try to oust them. Something fishy is going on at this company to have that much support amongst shareholders.

I said it every time he appeared on screen - looked uncomfortable, scruffy, nervous, out of his depth.

Doubtful, 2022 non covid revenue was less than half that in 2019. Although according of one of last year's RNS', we were going to see new products come onstream in Q4 2022. Almost 6 months ago that quarter started.

Yes I moan a lot here, for good reason.

Given that we have no sales, no pipeline, no strategy of note, no ceo, a court case which could wipe us out I think the drop was more likely to be based on fundamentals whereas any rose is based on nothing other than traders making a quick buck.

Now a nice round £50m below cash value. I mean wtf, what does the market know? Ok there’s an imminent financial crash but shouldn’t that be when marcaps take an illogical hammering? Unless we’re suddenly going to lose £30-40m this year, what is actually going on.

And yes I’ve written to ‘investor relations’ and fully expecting the bog standard ‘no news is good news’ bull****
