HarChris, exactly that. Given they bought in at 4x the current price with no improvement in sight, and no sales, it would suggest they are very bad investors. And not buying now is massively telling- they clearly know now what they didn’t then and have zero faith. The two are not mutually exclusive.

I’d wager that they’ve written off their investment as opposed to thinking that this is going to 5 bag and some, to make a profit. If they still believed in the company like they did when they bought in the £2’s they’d be all over this price. These types of people are ruthless in their pursuit of personal gain. As it is, they see no investment case, otherwise they’d invest.

Erm, they didn’t. Below are the director buys from just over a year ago. Quite a way off £3. The Wakefield one was a disgrace given the timing and the others likely sum up their competence. DA for example I wouldn’t trust in business as far as I can throw him so he clearly had no idea what he was doing. As for the others, perhaps they thought we were going to improve. A lot happens in a year, and they clearly have no faith we can improve now otherwise they’d be averaging down.

It’s been said before but the lack of insider buys is the biggest message they can send. If the people allegedly running the company don’t see any value in buying at 55p and almost 50m below cash, then why would anyone else?

Hit the nail on the head BH. It’s almost like they can’t be bothered with the hard yards after the covid lotto win came so easily, there’s clearly so much more work to do now with much less reward. That and there clearly isn’t the talent at the top to take it forward.

I’ve simply finally accepted that we are being priced at fair value based on the business we have. Took a while but I’m there.

WBA- you’ll be pleased to know I’m basically done with this share and board. Not selling as it’s not worth it but totally given up. And the board is just thread after thread of tenuous links. My money is gone, my time on this board is gone. Don’t really intend to spend much time here unless there is something to discuss which won’t happen for another month
