RE: What if?13 Sep 2021 17:39
@Naewise - what makes you think it is going to pop considerably? Highly frustrated LTH here and all I seem to read is about how NCYT is going to pop, but it doesn't. We get the occasional significant rise but then over the next month that is chipped away at to bring it to almost the low it started at (thinking the high £2's, most recently). I am desperate to sell my holding in NCYT and write it off as novice investing error (I'm new to the game so it's a learning curve which I am cool with - 30 years to retirement so I have time to catch up) but I can't face crystallising a 35% loss, but I don't see how it is going higher. We've been through the peak of testing and every time there is a reason to test more the word 'Novacyt' is bandied around, then we get days and days of 2-3% drops. Now we're moving out of Covid and the expected drop in travel related testing requirements, where are the rises coming from? What is driving the confidence or are we all in so deep (didn't sell at £10-12, bought in the 7's and 8's as we were sure it would peak again etc. etc.) that we cannot face the reality.
This is not just a negative take, more so a plea for transparent, honest opinions (I am sick and tired of the rampers, and they're so obvious) without talking about NCYT with the blinkers on.
