Two huge sells at 16:55 yesterday and pretty much sells on the first page of the share trades list. Who has all this inside info? Certainly not us PI’s. We have been played.

Harchris - fair point but where is the upside for us? Trust me, I want us to capitalise on case numbers being high but it’s not happened this year, bar that random spike in august after the investor event so that’s why I’m very pessimistic about relying on high case numbers.

There’s a vaccine, cases don’t matter much nowadays. Forget covid, we need a post covid plan.

The guardian runs an ‘nhs in winter crisis’ story every year, covid or no covid. Result of management incompetence and corrupt governments running it down to sell off, as opposed to solely covid.

Maybe vaccine passports because they do seem hell bent on continuing towards totalitarianism but next to no chance of any actual distancing etc restrictions

Tkr- by ‘covid is over’, obviously I don’t mean literally over and gone, it never will be, but due to vaccines I mean it is now at a level that the government and public have deemed to be acceptable. ‘Cases’ don’t mean anywhere near as much now, due to vaccines, which is fantastic news for the population. Of course cases will be higher than 6 months ago - back in April and may there was still SD, mass WFH, hardly anyone in sports stadiums etc., now EVERYTHING is back to normal. Imagine the cases 7-8 months ago if sports stadiums were packed to the rafters, pubs spilling out onto the streets, public transport packed etc etc. I’m not being pessimistic about ncyt deliberately but I work in facts as opposed to pure hope.

All good on paper, gggg, but do you believe ncyt has the capability to go after such contracts? The last 9-12 months suggests a very small company mentality, understandable as it was before covid, and I think it is a fair challenge to question whether they have the clout to secure significant contracts to tap into that war chest. Communication is abysmal, so what confidence should we have that they are capable of mixing it with the bigger fish in the pond?

Been in London today for the first time since before the pandemic and it seems to be very much over based on public opinion. If cases are dropping with literally zero distancing etc it really has run its course. £10m/month? Given the DHSC debacle I don’t trust a word of it until I see it in the accounts (I mean all sales and not just those to the Tory crooks).

Still capitalise on covid? You’re a year too late, OP. We have the cash from covid, but that’s over so we need to look beyond.

Shell - bang on. Many, like I am, are so underwater they sense that it’s just worth a gamble now that we get to £3-4. That’s what it is now, a gamble. We have now idea what they’re doing with the cash pile. Hopefully it will get invested wisely and not just divvied out in huge bonuses, but us mugs will be the last to know.

DRB I don’t disagree with you that the gov have completely sacked off covid and brushed it down the list of priorities. I’m also a believer in the vaccine so I personally don’t see it as anywhere near a big issue as it was. I’d love NCYT to get a bumper testing contract but it isn’t happening.

Sadly, they’d walk an election. Somehow, they’ve got a hold over the masses. This boris the joker thing somehow still wins over the masses. It’s truly bizarre and utterly destructive. Worst possible bunch of inhumane criminals at the worst possible time, yet the public still like them. It’s utterly insane.

Deaths aren’t “soaring”. Down 16% today, great news. We need to look beyond covid!!!
