??? Every man and his dog new this was coming , including the CWU . The only people that apparently were denying it were ST and his buddy Ricky. Funny that.

I don't think so . It seems that it's just some legality to do with the rolling separate function strikes. If things don't progress in the next 10 days and we are only allowed all out strikes I can see the union stringing a lot more consecutive days in one. Maybe even a full week. Members would still be only loosing what they were going to throughout November anyway.

Cwu have commented that the meeting isn't to announce a deal .

The CWU have called an urgent meeting with all members at 1pm today. Hoping its good news but I very much doubt it with the way ST was ranting on workplace after the 2 new AI dates were announced.

It will indeed. I think its just a reaction to rm continuing to impose change whilst talks are ongoing .

Apparently talks are continuing into next week. CWU have announced another 2 days of action . 12th and 14th November.

Tygra, if we had no CWU we would have been binned a long time ago and would be on the same t&c's and pay as all the other gig economy couriers. That is fact. So why would we want rid iof them ? I understand that shareholders want rid of the cwu , and maybe you're correct that the company would be more profitable without them, but I guarantee it wouldn't be the workforce that would see any of that profit.

Loving your optimism JB, although if you had access to rm workplace and could see the the combative and antagonistic way ST is interacting with the workforce you might think differently lol.
